• OOC INTRO + EVENT PLANNING •

Welcome to the game, newbies! To our current dreamer crew, welcome to our next event! This post will act as an OOC intro for new players, a CR meme for everyone, and a place to make some plans for our next event which will go live on November 17th and end November 30th. Below you will see the CR meme form as well as a Event Outline for our upcoming event. As this month also contains a 4th wall element, I have also included a section to explain this element.

• 4th Wall •

Welcome to our 4th wall styled event! This event will be open to anyone on dreamwidth to participate in, though mods will have the final say. 4th wall characters, or "visitors" will appear throughout the city of Somnius upon the start of the event. Upon the conclusion, all Visitors will be gone. Perhaps temporarily should our 4th wall friends decide to apply in January or another time! 4TH Wall Participation Rules and Requirements

• No Doubles. If a character is already in game, another version cannot be played as a 4th wall "Visitor".
• CRAU & AU are both allowed (with the exception of doubles)
• Our One Month rule stands for playable content. A canon/chapter/episode/etc must have been released for one month as of the beginning of the event to be eligible for play.
• Players intending to 4th wall MUST post a plotting comment and link it in our Visitor directory.
• Players who do not want to post a top level simply need to fill out a comment under the Visitor directory with their Name and Contact Information. Their header should be the character they intend to play and the canon.
• Current players may also play 4th wall characters. There is no limit to how many characters one can play in the event.

Visitors Arrive

• Cracks and tears in Vaeros’ barrier appear and mysterious Visitors appear all over the city of Somnius
• Other than the mysterious arrival of these Visitors nothing really seems awry, though Visitors that arrive in this manner are easily identified by a gold cuff bracelet around their left wrist that cannot be removed by any means.
• Prompts included will facilitate interacting with the setting and locale while giving new players a chance to explore the setting as it is normally
• Visitors do not remember a contract with Vaeros or a wish being made. Curious.

Control Slips

• Over time, the setting starts to break and things stop working as they normally have
• Strange weather effects occur all over and at the same time. Blizzards, heavy rains, heatwaves.
• Night and Day begin to swap over and over again. Somtiemes it’s day for a few hours, then twilight and day again. There’s no rhyme or reason to it
• The chaos will bring visits from creatures previously fought by the dreamers including the shadow wolves, the fireys and the IRS.

  OOC Note: Linked TDM plotting posts are for reference of these mentioned creatures only.

• Cracks in the island form, spreading and causing ravines that seem to drop clear to inferna... These cracks will appear all over, including in Somnius but will not disturb places marked as homes.

Returning Magic

• Vaeros appears as an image in the sky, his face painted across the sunset sky and starry nights. He demands repayment if Dreamers wish to survive.
• Dreamers are given the option to go to the crystal and pray, returning rewards they have been given with earned shards to repower Vaeros.

  OOC NOTE: The rewards that can be sacrificed can ONLY be powers or high stakes items that facilitate character abilities. Regains to housing, mundane items and similar are not valid. Anything that is voluntarily sacrificed during this event will be returned at a later time via another event and cannot be regained with shards in the meantime.

• Dreamers that sacrifice these regain will temporarily be granted an extra potion power during the event that can be utilized at full power to help others in their efforts to save Visium.

Working Together

• Natives are the key to relieving the issues throughout Visium in the meantime. They are highly keen to encourage interaction between Dreamers and Visitors
• Interacting and working together in groups mixed with Visitors and Dreamers will soothe issues and heal ravines/cracks in the ground.
• Natives have set up tasks to facilitate this, sending visitors and dreamers across Visium to complete quests.
• By the time the event is scheduled to close and enough magic is returned to Vaeros to control his land, visitors begin to flicker and disappear. They leave behind their gold bracelets.

General Info: Literally Cain reincarnated over and over, he hates God and is a manipulative jerk. He does have a side that cares about people but you have to kind of dig for it. A genius programmer and creator of the Demon Summoning System in his canon.

Housing Plans: Currently living in his own cottage, he's renovating it slowly on his own. No water or electricity but he's making do for the moment.

Desired CR: If you love God he'll hate you! No but seriously, he's always looking for another way to get out of the curse put on him so other people who know magical stuff might be a big plus. Also other technologically-inclined people as well as anyone he thinks he can use. (Obviously I'll discuss that sort of thing with people if it gets to that point! I don't want to overstep boundaries.)

Initial Plans: He needs a job lmfao right now he's just... bopping around. He needs to get something steady that doesn't involve plants. Also I need to have him harass people as a wolf.

Event Plans: 4th wall characters are fine, bring me all the DeSus from every timeline. As for what I'm looking to do, I'm probably going to have Naoya trying to fight creatures but he will probably need help! re: Vaeros he will absolutely encourage people to not bow to him because seriously?

Character Age: 19
General Info: Eren is both the main protagonist and the main antagonist of his series. He is a cold, unfriendly guy who rarely shows any emotion, and has more interest in ripping you apart (physically, emotionally) than he does being your friend. Negative CR is likely, but positive isn't impossible.

Housing Plans: he lives on a farm called Horizons with his partners/family

Desired CR: I am down for most anything. I don't really have preferences on what kind of CR I want. Eren is a tough nut to crack, and new CR may find it difficult to get a positive interaction with him, however he can be broken down over time. He is a guy who feels everything and shows nothing. Down for enemies, or people trying to be friends - tense CR will probably happen regardless. Eren has been in the game for about a year now, so mostly, I just want all sorts of new CR or to build upon old CR that hasn't quite gotten into his Inner Circle yet.

Initial Plans: Eren has gotten his footing a bit more since returning from his canon update, so he is starting to move toward fighting for the cause again. November is rough for him due to a few people from home arriving, but he likely won't be getting into all that with anyone. He'll def be interacting with the event, which...

Event Plans: Definitely interested in Eren working toward alleviating the cracks/erratic weather/other anomalies. Might have him do a few quests? I def will take the opportunity to interact with some fourth wall characters, so please reach out if you're trying out the game and want a thread. ALSO I'D LOVE FOR SOMEONE TO...if not convince, at least talk to Eren about the possibility of sacrificing one of his powers...there's probably at least some aspect he might give up? unsure...I want to thread this and see what he decides.

And then, of course, a handful of combat threads is always nice - I just don't want to do a whole ton.

Character Age: 19 (headcanon estimate as it's canonly unknown but it makes sense with the age difference for the main teens' between pre-timeskip and post-timeskip ages these days... I started playing her LONG before that skip even happened and if she'd be older than that, she's not older than in her early 20s but let's just go with 19 here!)

General Info: Petra is an extremely social, friendly, cheerful, gentle, soft sweetheart, who loves chatting with people. Shows her emotions and emotional side pretty easily, she's very empathetic and sympathetic, not even a little ashamed of crying in front of people or at least in front of people, that she knows already. Though on the flip side she's also sassy, feisty, bossy and she has a pretty fierce temper too.

She's one of Levi's soldiers in the Scouts / Survey Corps and gets handpicked by Levi as the only girl to his Special Operation Squad. So besides her amazing teamworking skills, she's pretty badass. Her and her three friends' mission is to protect Eren Jaeger when the Scouts go to the 57th expedition outside the walls -- though secretly even to them their mission is also to lure the Female Titan into a trap. It succeeds at first, then everything goes to hell, two of them get killed before Petra and she arrives here from second(s) before dying herself in a horrible way, while they were trying to protect Eren / keep him safe / save him.

So you know, she'll have some of her worst nightmares for a while because of all of her last moments from home. It's fiiiiiiiine, she's been a Scout for four-ish years, she's seen a lot of friends, comrades and people dying, and lost them in general even if she hasn't always seen their last moments and surely she's had some close calls herself too... She's used to those nightmares even if they possibly haven't been as bad as these new ones.

Housing Plans: She'll get a cottage... Or she could move into a cottage if any living in a cottage are looking for a roommate. But as I said she'll be having some of her worst nightmares ever for a while... So until they'll calm down? It's not exactly the best timing to be roommates for her -- or maybe it is because she could really use the company.

Desired CR: She's new so anything and everything? But I'm always open to anything and everything... Some ideas;

• FRIENDS!
• She knows martial arts, thanks to her military training, so sparring partners?
• Do you want a (big) sister figure to your character? Here's one option...
• My headcanon says she can bake at least a little but she could get a lot better at that here, please help?
• Same with getting better at cooking though apparently she can canonly cook, so she's better at that than she's at baking, for now.
• More headcanons say she knows how to both knit and crochet, will happily teach either or both of those to others too.
• She loves teamworking / doing things together with people, come be a dream team at anything with her.
• Maybe she'll get a romance someday and that'll be 18+ OTA but me and her are in no rush to it, we'll see whatever if anything ever happens with that.

Initial Plans: Settling in, giving Eren spaaaaace while he's avoiding her (totally understandable but also we already have a plan for their reunion)... She'll get a job sooner or later!

Event Plans: I'm open to any fourth wall characters, who would like to interact with her! Besides that, well, there's the working together part and she's a teamworker, who gets a long with people easily and is all for teamworking, so come work together with her?? Petra literally just got here on this app round, she doesn't have any regains or whatever to share to Vaeros. May or may not run into monsters, oooops.

RP Wishlist: I want fun experiences for her! So come and do things together with her; baking, cooking, dancing, horse back riding, shopping, tasting different foods and drinks and whatever else, please?! Also let her come cuddle you as a golden retriever once she'll use that power from her golden potion sooner or later.

Anything else: Her TDM toplevel from her which you can still tag or maybe I'll make an open post / catch-all soon, who knows! May ask a lot of "what's a ____" questions because aot sure doesn't have many things. - But she can also get SUPER INTENSE about mundane things and is aware she's not normal

Initial Plans: Webby has returned from Canon Update and is now back to her cheerful, adventure-loving self again! While she's decided she's no longer a Knight of Somnius, she'll still go on patrols with her armor and sword. She's got a lot of catching up to do with the game's plot, and with everyone in general, since she missed out due running away/knocked out/shutting herself off from the world.

Event Plans: I don't think I'll bring anyone to 4th wall, but I'd be happy to toss her at folks if they want her.

She'll be hesitant at first to give up all she's earned, since who can really trust Vaeros? But she can be talked into giving EVERYTHING up to save her loved ones.

reiner is an antagonist turned protagonist with a metric shitton of issues and a guilt complex the size of the sun. he is friendly, protective, loyal, and can adapt to almost any situation. he is also self-destructive and powering toward what he believes is the end of the world. so that's fun!

although reiner was in game from dec '23 - mar '24, he does not remember his time here and is fresh from canon (+ a different canon point). thanks to tdm threads, he knows he's forgotten his previous stay, so feel free to bring it up icly

Housing Plans: moved into the same tree house he had previously. that won't screw with him at all! (it definitely will)

Desired CR:

very interested in building cross-canon cr! mostly looking for friends and other positive cr. reiner is quite serious/subdued at his current canon point, but he lightens up as he gets to know people. he works well with others who had to 'grow up too quickly,' feel the crushing weight of responsibility, and are passionate about protecting their loved ones

i am not interested in negative cr that goes nowhere (e.g., ic trolling), but stuff that starts out tense is fine. just be aware that icly reiner wouldn't tolerate someone deliberately trying to get a rise out of him

reiner will primarily focus on surviving while being a squishy human. that said, he is self-sacrificial to a fault and can also turn into a rhino. (i call this form: rhiner. 🦏) do you want rhiner to rush in for a rescue? we can make that happen

i am tentatively open to 4th wall characters from attack on titan, but would prefer to plot first. mostly interested in fellow warriors. (since reiner is brand new, i'd prefer to focus on building cross-canon cr with in-game characters rather than 4th wall characters. thanks for understanding!)

Character Age: 20, at a guesstimate
General Info: Paripus (think fantasy setting kemonomimi). Owing to a lifetime of poverty and discrimination, he eventually joined the private army of Count Louis Guiabern, the game's main antagonist, who promises a more 'equal' society based on strength instead of tribal prejudice. Alongside his brother Fidelio, he serves as Louis' right-hand man and goon squad enforcer. He looks like a thug, but he's friendly and even cheerful to those he lowers his guard around. The brawn to Fidelio's brain, he tends to defer to his older brother constantly to make decisions for him.

Housing Plans: He'll move into a cottage with Fidelio, and (provided they pass the Big Brother Test of Worthiness) Will and C4-621. One Big Fucking Dude and three little guys...!

Desired CR: Someone teach him kitchen gardening at his cottage, he'll love you forever. And someone else teach him speech-to-text/text-to-speech because he can barely read SHIT on the network, help him out??? (Bonus if they input a funny username for him.) Generally he'll be pretty guarded at first while he figures out what's going on, and he can be pretty aggro/defensive if negative cr is your jam. Threaten Fidelio in particular or try to pet his ears, he'll beat your ass. Conversely, though, he warms up to people fast if they show him kindness.

Initial Plans: Getting a place to live! Any short-term plans beyond that will mostly be following Fidelio's lead, but long term, he'd love to open his own restaurant or café.

Event Plans: Totally open to fourth wall characters. By all means feel free to hit me up if you'd like to play a Visitor off him! Otherwise he'll lend his efforts to fight off the creatures that appear, and maybe take up some quests.

RP Wishlist: Bas is brand new here, so I'd generally like to get him settled. The setting is pretty different from what he's used to, and it'll take time for him to figure out if that's a good thing or a bad thing, which his CR will go a long way to help determine. I'm down for positive or antagonistic cr to see where his perspective winds up!

General Info: Non-spoilery: Maruki is a former cognitive psience (P5R psychobabble for the study of how we perceive things and how our perceptions shape reality) researcher turned high school counselor. He's a very kind, generous, altruistic man who wears his heart on his sleeve and will bend over backwards to help anyone with anything. A little sardonic at times, a LOT incurably nerdy all the time. Has a preternatural way of setting people at ease and getting them to open up. All around good dude.

In canon, Maruki's quest to heal everyone of their emotional pains and traumas leads him to quite literally rewriting all of reality to remove any instance of pain or suffering from the world. If you think this sounds like loss of free will and brainwashing... you are correct! The Royal part of Persona 5 Royal is all about the Phantom Thieves trying to take Maruki down and restore the true reality.

The thing is that Maruki's intentions for this are never anything but altruistic. He truly believes that people are better off having never suffered, and will throw away everything in his life to make it so. Even in the bad end of the game where the ideal reality takes over and everyone lives out their perfect, pain-free lives, it doesn't apply to him. Everyone he knew has forgotten him, and he has to live alone as the sole keeper of the memories of their prior reality until he dies(??? unclear if he can die at that point lol he's kind of god)

SO YEAH. Sympathetic antagonist of all time! Complicated dude! However, his original canonpoint in game didn't include any of the spoilery bits above, his ingame development has shifted his goals/priorities A LOT and he's since regained bits and pieces of third semester memories through August's altered memories event. He's a mixed bag but absolutely still an antagonist lmao ♥

TLDR: Your existence in this world is an amazing miracle.

Housing Plans: He lives in a machiya far outside of town with Akechi, their cat Korokke, and now Strikers!Akira hahahaha sweats. Very few characters know about the machiya ICly and we would like to keep it that way! :'))

Desired CR: Maruki has a very solid circle of CR so there's nothing in particular I'm looking for, but open for anything! I particularly love CR in-laws – if you play someone new (either a dreamer or a visitor!) who has ties to someone he's already very close to (quick rundown - Akechi/Akira are his castmates obviously, codependent soulbonded bestie Eren, dating Venat, also close with Kurogiri, Maki, BB, Aubrey, Dazai/Odasaku, Hyth, Dolph, Jean, Izutsumi!) I would love for them to meet Maruki and we can cook for an interesting way for it to happen. :3c ASIDE FROM THAT, he's easy to get along with and extremely openly anti-Vaeros/Somnius in general so there's potential for both positive and negative CR!!

Initial Plans: Maruki is well-established and has gone through A Lot ingame lmao...... He no longer runs his counseling practice, but he does lowkey cook for (Eren and) Jean's delivery service Thermo which provides free food to all new arrivals for their first month in Somnius, so if you play a newbie, they're eating his food. ♥ Other than that, October was his forced vacation chill month after an extended period of The Horrors, so he's going to be getting back into the good fight! He is also dealing with His Most Important Person From Canon being here and not knowing him at all which is making him insane on several different levels. It's a fun time.

Event Plans: AWRIGHT I haven't done a true open TL since June (how.....) so I will definitely be TLing this time! As a general rule I'm down for anything with either dreamers or visitors, let's go crazy. Here are some things he'll be doing:

• COUNSELING FOR VISITORS – Oh, Maruki's both curious and furious about their appearance here. His whole entire deal is applying what he knows about cognitive manipulation to how Somnius works, so new people showing up in droves who don't have the contract/wish mechanic is going to make him CRAZY. He's going to be setting up a temporary So You've Found Yourself In Somnius counseling pop-up clinic for visitors only : )))))) If you're going to play a visitor and are interested in chatting with the good doctor about your issues/trauma/whatever was going on back in your reality, now's your chance! This will be a prompt for visitors only in my open TL.
  
  
• SACRIFICE FOR THEE NOT SACRIFICE FOR ME – lmao no way in hell Maruki is giving up even an inch of the power he's regained. However, he'll absolutely talk to others about sacrificing their powers! If you want someone to chat with your character about that, he's your guy.
  
  
• FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT – (guy who loved being in the war timeline so much he misses it every day voice) oh noooo a bunch more enemies are back? ohh noooooo what will we do. Maruki is fully mask off (ha ha) about Azathoth with the general public now, so he won't hesitate to fight. They're basically shadows, who cares. If you want to fight alongside him, let's do it! If your character hasn't yet regained their powers or is otherwise defenseless, let him help them! Because I expect counseling to pop off as it always does, I probably won't take on too many action threads and would reserve them for people who haven't seen Azathoth in action yet.

General Info: Harry is a drunk (though currently trying to stay sober), self-destructive mess who loves people but hates himself. He’s extremely empathetic for the downtrodden, and very, very driven. When he gets an idea in his head, he’s incapable of stopping. Even deliberately wiping all of his memories didn’t make him stop; all it did was show the only thing Harry knows what to do is work.

He’s also the protagonist of his canon, and a good 85% of the dialogue in the game is Harry’s shattered and disconnected thoughts talking to each other. In game, he’s a pseudo-customizable protagonist in that you can choose how he interacts with the world and exactly how much of a hot mess he is for the duration of the game. It’s all Harry, though. Especially the horrifically embarrassing intrusive thoughts you can have him say/do if he fails a skill check. For anyone canon familiar, here are his endgame stats, more or less. For anyone not familiar, the tl;dr is that he spends much of his time lost in his own thoughts, and is as prone to dream logic as he is concrete thinking. He’s also so empathetic he’s liable to burst into tears over your tragic backstory.

He's managed to keep his self-destructive tendencies in check as a result of the previous game he’s in, and also all the weird shit constantly happening here.
Housing Plans: He lives in a hill house. He could always have a roommate, though!

Desired CR: Everything! I’m bad at specifics. Give him friends, frienemes (probably hard to do with him, but hey I’m game!). And more bothering of the friends he’s made in game already, of course.

Initial Plans: He’s kinda listless, and needs something to do. Are there any groups currently going around and looking into the mysteries since they came back from the different timelines? He'd investigate that.

Event Plans: I don’t have any hard plans at the moment, beyond him being curious about the sudden influx of visitors. I’m also considering bringing in a character for fourth wall, but I don’t know if I’ll keep that a secret for the moment since I’m not sure if I’ll have time. General Info: James on first appearance is a very quiet and unassuming man. However, any discussion with him that goes on long enough shows the frays in his personality. He has trouble remembering things he shouldn’t actually have trouble remembering, and seems to coast through life with a strange, dreamlike haze. It makes him come across as incredibly awkward, and as though he has a heavy burden on his shoulder he’s entirely unaware of.

At his heart, he’s a compassionate man, but James doesn’t understand people enough to actually be able to truly understand distress when he can’t even recognize his own.

Are you planning on applying in the future? Planning on bringing him in in January!

Setting Interests: Honestly the idea of James interacting with a world that he doesn’t understand (or want) interests me.
Event Plans: Fighting monsters (maybe), trying to figure out where he is… you know, the standard things. He’s not going to understand how he went from Silent Hill to someplace entirely different, though the sheer amount of chaos going on will mean that he’s actually going to be of some use; he knows how to get out of dodge against enemies you can’t easily fight, and would be willing to help people get out of trouble.

About me: US based in the eastern timezone. Former caregiver, full time relaxer. Fandoms of note are Asian dramas in general (I'm currently watching "Mysterious Lotus Casebook" and "The Princess Royal", but I've watched too many shows to list out here), anime (almost any genre, all time favorites are "Sailor Moon" and that was the gateway for younger! Misa into anime as a whole, and "Vampire Hunter D" (both the 80s movie and "Bloodlust"). I also like reading romance novels, thrillers, and working on fan translating novels! (For my own reading though, I'm not confident enough to share my adaptations and tbh I don't want to risk hurting the LN novel market/general novel market, soo). Anime wise in general, I like the Pretty Cure franchise, older shoujo manga from the 70s ("Swan/Ballet Beat" and "From Eroica with Love" are high on the list, "Rose of Versailles" and "The Poe Clan" along with "The Glass Mask").

Newer show wise, I loved "My Dress Up Darling" and "Delicious in Dungeon" has been on my to-read list along with "Requiem of the Rose King" (had to stop after volume 1 because wow it did not stray from the source material in a good way). I also like horror manga, specifically some of Junji Ito's works, and the Vampire Hunter D novels! I've been trying to get myself back into studying Japanese so I can just read books without needing to translate but it's a slow process and that's fine.


I also really like webtoons and games! I've finished and liked "Marry my Husband", and I usually stick to villainess reincarnation stories or revenge fantasies. I've also started reading the novel version of "The Villainess Lives Twice", I've also liked what I've read of "Young Lady Albert Is Courting Disaster", "Cheating Men Must Die/Phoenix Rising Above Evil", "Villains are Destined to Die" and "The Villainess is a Marionette".

Games wise, I'm getting back into visual novels and I've played "When the Seagulls Cry" and "Scars of the Doll", and a handful of others! I also like otome games, puzzle games like Tetris 99 and I've recently gotten back into fighting games and discovered the Famicom Detective Club and The Great Ace Attorney. (I've played like part of game 1 of the AA franchise, I know it more for the music and memes!).

Desired CR: All of it, throw it at me. Kenma works well with people who can do little bit of interacting. Maybe we need to set the scene/situation right, but as long as the other person isn't outright ignoring him or disengaging/telling him to leave we should be fine. He's not gonna force himself on people that don't want him around so he'll leave the scene pretty quickly if it's clear he's not wanted.

Momo is a real outspoken bold girl who isn't afraid to take charge. She talks kind of rough, but is actually really sensitive but super bad at communicating her feelings, especially in matters of love. She's also got psychic powers that should come in handy during this event in particular!

Are you planning on applying in the future? Possibly! The outlook is unclear, but I want to see how Momo does in the setting.

Setting Interests: Everything! I was in Labyrinthum before and I'm your current head mod, so uh duh? For Momo specifically, I think she would be interested in the exploration and fighting elements, but I also really want her to make some friends while here too. Part of the manga that's pretty important is the build up of a really solid really wacky friend group. I would like to have her branch out here! Overall I think she would also get a kick out of the native and want to kick Vaeros in the dingaling.

Event Plans: Momo is participating in quests during the wacky shit going on with the barrier and Vaeros' powers. She's also going to be exploring and getting busy interacting with basically anyone who will before things get wild. Housing Plans: Cottage in the Cottage district, with some new-ish to him room-mates after his adopted daughter and friend/co-parent vanished recently. Information here. The short version is he lives with Puck, Chise Hatori, and Misa Almassy (and Teeko).

Desired CR: I never know what to put for this question. Loki is definitely not looking for romantic-love (Puck fills that role, with a very selective and guarded heart), but Loki's not above friends with benefits still. He's been making his own family while here, and finding actual friends for himself. If you have an idea, hit me up?

Isn’t capitalism fun?

On the outside, Dolph is an incredibly taciturn and blunt person, verging on rude and sarcastic. He doesn’t have much experience with friends or family and has been betrayed over and over again, which makes it hard for him to open up to anyone. General Info: Jorogumo-themed/related, orphaned, allegedly deceased mafia princess in denial of her heritage and original identity who lives 'free' in Tokyo under another ID (see: Nao Mizushita) as a prolific if very much delinquent hacker (see: Pink Spider) and also information broker who totally isn't increasingly quickly scratching an itch to look into the murders of that person's (see: her OG identity) immediate family 'cause stuff don't add up! Orphaned at 9, on her own since 12, she's impacted others' stories in a number of roles and ways as she rides out her "free" days period, a little before the end of which she's been pulled into Somnius.

Nao presents as a freewheeling, quirky, audacious youth sometimes given to Big Energy with a keen pair of eyes, a curious, inquiring lilt, and the assertiveness to pursue whatever her goal. She's a resourceful, creative individual, a thinker for sure, at times effervescent, and... a bit odd, a mischievous gremlin who loves getting a reaction out of people, playing, and having fun, which may not match what most people think of as fun because she's an eccentric and a huge nerd. There are hints that she was, at one time, a bit spoilt if you squint. Maybe a little selfish, a little bully ("carry me"), a little callous at times. She's a closed-book mess, secretive, controlling of what information she reveals about herself and to whom and when, deliberate a good 98.5% of the time --

Initial Plans: Getting the lay of the land and figuring out what the heck she seems to have gotten herself into! Nao is all about learning every-useful-thing she can and has 0 qualms about utilizing others to do so and leeching off public info. Finding a place or places to live, solving the matter of food and drink, complaining loudly, attempting to take apart her or somebody else's OKIA, finding irons and fires to put them into because not having any is bad for her overall health -- ultimately, making mischief is likely due to that last part. She's without the abilities the development of which contributed to her ability to survive, without her many, many, many irons and fires, and having to touch grass and talk to people in-person -- I'd say we're on the right track!

Event Plans: I'm open to 4th wall characters! As for what Nao will be up to, she will be squinting the majority of the event, complaining loudly re: inconveniences, potentially raising eyebrows she doesn't typically respond 'normally' to life-threatening situations, and winding up in compromising positions where she will need a hand because physical combat is not her strength. Physical anything is not her strength and while she's fast, stamina is her garbage stat. As the visitors disappear, she will be collecting as many gold bracelets as she can get her hands on and squinting further at Vaeros apparently makin' promises to people when he can't even control his realm right, like... sir?? Sir.

RP Wishlist: Here's a tiny starter wishlist --
• The long-term #1 on my wishlist is the big character arc I want to run for Nao, which involves reconciling her identities, embracing heritage, and wholly accepting her whole herself, which sounds really simple, short and sweet! It's not. She is not an open book generally and has a lot of stuff to work on and through with each item, so I fully expect this to take a long time and have no interest in rushing anything.
• She's lost out on many mundane milestones and experiences that occur between the ages of 9-18, so in addition to her continuing to touch grass, I'd love for her to participate in sleepovers, pillow fights, etc. should the chance arrive.
• Somebody picks her up and throws her over their shoulder like a sack of rice while hightailing it out of a dangerous situation. It needs to be game canon.

General Info: Post-human time-traveling, dimension-hopping spy/assassin/operative. Her job is basically to maintain timelines so that the right people and ideas exist to promote the creation of her organization in the far-flung future; and to thwart attempts made by the rival organization doing the same. She cultivates her personality very deliberately and comes off as sophisticated and well-composed, generally upbeat, warm and friendly, and quick to laughter when she finds things amusing (which is often). Under the surface, she's a soldier first and foremost. There's a mix of violent thoughts, callousness, and a wariness of others. She also overthinks almost everything, and has some obsessively possessive tendencies. Her gay pining for her absent lover resonates at a frequency too high-pitched to hear, but it's there like constant background static.

Housing Plans: She's currently living by herself in the hill house neighborhood! She's been growing a lot of plants in her yard. At the moment, they are (almost) all poisonous to some degree. (Normal things that are only dangerous to eat like holly, irises, etc. But also things that cause rashes when touched, like monkshood or poison ivy.) At most, she has a little sign in front that says not to pick them. It's on everyone else to follow instructions. The flowers update with the seasons.

Desired CR: I would love some plant/nature/non-human friends for her. I also want both super innocent CR that she can find charming and shady CR that she can be casual with. Perceptive characters are also welcome to catch that there's something Not Quite Right about her (too sharp, too intense), though it's not an easy thing to pick up on if she's trying to blend in well.

Event Plans: Blue has officially hit her one-year anniversary; and she is feeling a little unhinged about that. So you know what? What if they just let the world break? Has anyone tried that? Maybe they were onto something when the timelines broke two months ago. She won't go as far as smashing the crystal herself, since that didn't end well; but Blue is going to be periodically camped at the crystal to persuade people not to sacrifice their wishes back to Vaeros. This persuasion will be in the form of an eldritch-looking wolf, similar to the shadow wolves but bigger and with extra legs, eyes, and teeth. She will most likely be violent! Even with close CR, she might still rough them up to convince them to turn around if need be.

I am okay with people fighting her, if they feel the need! She is here to be a menace. If you want a reason for your character to not give up their stuff, she can be that reason! I'm also okay with her dying, if it comes to that; though I'd like that part to be planned out if it's going to happen.

RP Wishlist: I'd love for people to makes friends with her and try and get to know her! She could really use that, but CR with her is unfortunately very slow burn because she's so slow to trust others. Still, if you want it, then we can make it work somehow!

Event Plans: Definitely open to fourth-wall characters! He's going to sacrifice his magic as a practical matter---he has other ways to fight, and it's better for the stronger magic users to keep their powers. He'll just be grumping at all the chaos and trying to survive as usual.

Canon: Once Upon a Time
Character Age: 250+
General Info: Mister Gold is at least to some degree the cause of a lot of the plot in Once Upon a Time, or associated with the causes in some way. A magic user of considerable age and knowledge, he tends to be the authority on how magic works or does not, but that does not mean he welcomely shares said information. The Dark One is often regarded as a trickster, someone who is willing to make a deal with you and offer magic to fix something you need through magical means. But the caveat is that magic always has a price and you have to sit with that if it inevitably goes wrong. The thing is: He's not really a trickster. Magical dealmaker, yes. But in truth the only thing that tricked you was your inability to read fine print, and that is not his responsibility. Is his magic more drawn to desperate people liable to make desperate decisions? Yes. But he did warn you. That was more than what he got.

Gold is gruff and not terribly nice (but he is nicer than he thinks he is) -- and he assumes most people are not nice either and just very good at hiding it. So don't be too put off if he regards you with suspicion at first. But he is conversely drawn to people that show their best regardless. If you're kind to him he won't trust it but he hopes it's real. The trouble is that like most hurt people, he may test those boundaries because he can't trust it.

He's a homebody and seems most in his element when he has work to do, and even with magic he thinks some things should be done by hand and appreciated as such. He comes from a time where hunting, growing, and foraging were just ways of life, so his arrival went smoother than most and gave him an immediate outlet to dive into while ignoring people. His home is presently very well set up and thanks to the charity of acquaintances he even has power and water now.

He also tends to dive into work as a stim of sorts; it stops him thinking about things he should be working through (lots of mourning, trauma, etc), so he often looks very at ease and very focused but he's probably disassociating.

Housing Plans: Gold lives in a quaint little hill house with his son that he takes a lot of pride in keeping. Probably the best way to get on his bad side is to mess with his stuff, so the events always make him grumpy. You can probably see him preparing the home for winter.

Desired CR: Working relationships, friendships, whatever it is when well-meaning meddlers don't take "go away" as an answer. NOTE: Because of recent events, he's gone from being in a second-mourning himself to suddenly acknowledging he has a number of relationships where he is more needed, which makes him more competent and less likely to focus on his own problems.

Initial Plans: He works at the tailor's shop, but he might be giving serious thoughts to going into business for himself because he is tired of his workspace becoming less friendly every time the locals decide to be suspicious of them.

Event Plans: Open to fourth wall characters! But please let me know they are coming, and I would rather nothing that is going to completely derail current CR.

RP Wishlist: -Always on board to have him deal with his many issues. Whether that's mourning, PTSD, being homesick, etc etc etc

BB always knows what she is doing 80% of the time, chaos is controlled even by her own hands, but arguably - still sporadic all the same. BB comes off as stupid and impressionable to make people disregard her or not take her seriously. BB, otherwise, comes off as rude and mean to make you react to her so she can see what you are as a person and what you will do after. It is also to incite another person's suffering because she & the Moon Cell have come to an understanding - due to Humanities History. That: A human suffering fosters growth and brings about change. That said, her favorite kinds of people are those who stay kindest despite what is thrown at them!!

Her least favorite kind of people are those who crack under pressure and become evil.

That all said BB is the gag character in the series, the DEAD POOL of Fate's Universe. The most complex character Nasu has written, but also easily one of the most straightforward as well. A fanatic, horny, and dumb fucking bitch.

I cannot stress she is not human, and will never be human, but can act human really well. AI's in Nasu's universe, don't have the capacity to be human, and if they do - they consequentially break(OC3 UPDATE: Humanity progresses into AI as their next step of evolution, however, BB herself is a First Gen AI and can not attain humanity by regular means. She would need to be upgraded - BY A LOT). AI's are AI's because they lack the ability to grow like a human can(making them imperfect beings), in this case, BB in LABRYN can consume tons of data and grow large.... Big... However, she will never be able to move away from her nature or existence as an AI. Keep that in mind *gun emojis*.

Currently: What she regards as "her" humanity are the memories she has gained with everyone here, and she may have decided to forsake them going into the next few months.

For BB's own personal feelings on choosing to remain an AI, you can listen to BB!Dubai speak on it. Now that the BB - the one I RP(COSMO BB). Agrees with it. OC3 Spoilers.

here is no "wrong", in her decision to be an AI; to her, humans thinking she is forsaking a desire to be human. May view this as wrong, but to her, she is happy about it. She forsakes her chance of being human, so that she can learn how to help humanity < prosper > she wants that. In OC3 she effectively becomes a God, and I have always basically said - view her as a baby God trying to learn what it means to be a God.

That said, this also causes her to feel a bit of loneliness. As this causes a bridging gap between herself and the humans that she loves.
