I was always a big reader of fantasy and science fiction on Earth, but now that I know aspects of those exist, I've actually started picking up books on magical theory and application.

I like historical saga and stories and romance novels. But I read a lot of history and science books too. I wonder if I could find some on magical healing?

I did, and I've been practicing a lot so I'm getting pretty good with it. No where near what Gran-gran would be able to do, but I can least help a little.

Good for you! It's one of those magics I wished I'd been able to learn back at Hexside, but there was a whole, well, worldwide catastrophe going on that I didn't get to do that.

Gran gran? That's...Katara, right?

Yes, the great benders of the Water Tribe can heal all kind of things. And gran gran is one of the strongest water benders there is.

Yeah, it's good to have Korra here. And to see Toph and Fire Lord Zuko when they were young. But it would be nice to see family again.

I wish I could help with that. I was lucky enough when I first got here that Willow and Hunter, friends of mine, had been here already.

I know. I'm sure that dad and them will eventually find me too. He found me when I was lost before. And I've been really lucky to make new friends here, so it hasn't been too bad.

New friends can help you see things you didn't know before. Trust me, it happens.

They can, I've learned a lot about all different kinds of magic in other worlds. And it's really strange hearing how the names for a lot of things change. I was just talking to someone about movers. But they said sometime they came off the screen when you wore special glasses, but it was still a mover and not a play. And they have sound and color.

No kidding! I've heard a lot of different stories about magic from other worlds too!

Movers? What are...oh! You're talking about movies! Yes, the ones you can see nowadays do have color and sound! They can make it feel like you're watching a book unfold in real time!

In my world they do. You can actually do a LOT with phones these days, so much that people hardly use them to call each other!

Because you still can call people with them, they're just VERY enhanced!

And a girlfriend technically, but yes! His name is Kenma.

He lives and breathes them! It's actually how we wound up meeting each other in the first place!
