In my world they do. You can actually do a LOT with phones these days, so much that people hardly use them to call each other!

Ha ha, I thought you'd ask that. I'm going to have to have my boyfriend show you the majesty that are video games.

Because you still can call people with them, they're just VERY enhanced!

And a girlfriend technically, but yes! His name is Kenma.

He lives and breathes them! It's actually how we wound up meeting each other in the first place!

Aw, that would have been cute!

But nah, we actually bonded through playing games together, him and I! Over time, I started to come over when things got bad, and we just started to support each other when things got rough. Over time, that changed to affection, and then it really just came down to us finally exchanging a kiss.

Actually, THAT was really cute too, now that I say it aloud.

We did! Honestly, I was pretty sure that we would only be video games buddies, but over time we just became more. It felt kinda nice.
