Welcome to our October Intense Event Plotting meme! This post is our monthly CR meme for everyone, and serves as a place to make some plans for our next event, which will go live on October 11th. Below you will see the Event planning form as well as an Event Outline for our upcoming event.

SECTION 1

• Legend says that every 100 years, Yuraia, the moon, leaves the three lands she watches over and must be coaxed back through celebration and revelry. Lumindeans begin preparing for this.
• Visium and Lumindeas are plunged into an eternal night with no moon and no stars. Yuraia is gone.
• Local fauna, farm animals, and pets have all fallen asleep and cannot be woken.
• The Garden of Dreams is growing out of control - any of the flowers used during any Labyrinthum TDM in the past may crop up and interfere with Dreamers in the garden, in Visium, or in Lumindeas - the plants grow far beyond their garden boundaries.
• Moon spirits begin wandering both lands, reflecting locals who have died. Dreamers do not see their own dead loved ones, but may see Dreamers who have left this world for a brief moment.
• Bats and wolves are the only animals that remain awake, and are acting strangely, targeting and attacking locals and Dreamers alike.

SECTION 2

• When a bat bites a Dreamer and time passes, they will slowly gain traits of and transform into a vampire. Vampires can possess many different characteristics, based on your own interpretation or on classic tropes.
• When a wolf bites and it gets infected, the Dreamer will slowly transform into a werewolf. Again, they can take up traits of any classic or popular trope
• The types of dreamers bats and wolves are drawn to attack are based on certain negative traits.
• Vampires might be: impatient, timid, thoughtless, dishonest, gullible, power-hungry, miserable, envious, treacherous, inconsiderate
• Werewolves might be: shallow, asocial, devious, scornful, careless, neurotic, complacent, paranoid, possessive, amoral
• Werewolves and Vampires will feel the desire to find others of their kind to work together, and feel great antagonism towards each other.

SECTION 3

• Nightly parties are held that amount to backyard bashes with moon-themed decorations and activities.
• Every weekend, larger, more rowdy parties are held in the Stellari districts and in the center of Visium
• Weekend parties include competition-based events, like competitive story-telling
• Friends can whisper descriptions to each other that then manifest as beautiful fireworks, though some of the details might be wrong

Event Plans: Section One! Luz is going to see some of her past friends, specifically Webby, so she's not going to be aware that Webby's left yet! Sadly, she will eventually realize what has happened, and this will lead to her being pretty sad, and THAT will lead to

Section 2! Where Luz will be bitten by a wolf and turn lycan! Expect Luz to pal around you if you're a wolf, and become your enemy if you're a vamp! Her magical powers will obviously be forgotten as a wolf, but her strength is going to be at its prime here, so the battle will be daunting! Feel free to also attempt to talk her out of potential fights!

Section 3: Even lycanthropes need to let loose and party! This will be an easy thing for Luz to get lost in, since she's going to be a werewolf for a decent part of the month!

Non Event Plans: Going to actually attempt to tabulate my replies, because I am hoping either this month or next to finally get that youth center Luz has been talking about. Also! Luz has a new housemate in Mabel, so hopefully (inevitably) shenanigans will ensue!

Puck/"Robin Goodfellow"/"Owen Burnette"| Gargoyles

Character age: 340-something, he appears in his mid 20s because it's Disney, why pin a specific age on any character?
General info: Actor to the royal fae court of Avalon, serving King Oberon and Titania, Puck was thrown out of Avalon along with the rest of his siblings to "go learn humility" and landed in the universe as [humans know it]. For a while he traveled the world and then sheerly for the comedy of doing it, met the son of the billionaire he'd been observing for decades and signed up to be the personal assistant of David Xanatos, the show's antagonist turned anti-hero.

While all of this happened, Oberon was like "Hey come back to Avalon and serve the kingdom!" and Puck just ignored that entire message, which leads to reprocussions, but that's not where Puck's canon pull is from, so he's fine. He's been posing as the human assistant "Owen Burnette" for several years (I HC a decade but again, it's Disney and what are timelines?), and
Puck has made peace with William Shakespeare, how "he" and the rest of the court is portrayed in "Midsummer Night's Dream" and generally being in Somnius.

He's found friendship, love, and has gotten through everything that's been thrown at him so far. Puck looks at humans as an endless source of entertainment, treating them the way you might treat youtube, or your favorite show on a streaming service. He likes watching them, meeting them, and then if the time comes, just being a trickster and pulling some "Did you ask for the spirit of the law or the letter?" fast act when needed.

Puck's mercurial but mostly nice, has his limits, and Puck follows the general rule of "like is met with like". If your [characters] are open and friendly, Puck will be the same. Puck is currently on his own anti-hero arc because of events in [the game itself] and his friendships and romance, both which have encouraged some personal growth.

He also likes playing with his magic, which usually manifests in posting as his human disugise once in a while to ask a question to the network, or simply shapeshifting or casting an illusion to pass the time. Puck lives in House Trick or Treat and is in an open (what Puck knows as "casual dating" because 1990s) relationship with Loki.

Seeing ghosts: Puck will see some old CR, but I'm gonna keep it vague and just have a "yeah that sure did happen and he's upset" reaction instead (same with Eilonwy).


Bats: Finally, I can rewatch Vampire Hunter D for no reason. Puck will be turning into a vampire for this event and I'm taking cues from the franchise for two things specifically: Puck's voice will be changing. "D" in the movie was voiced by Kaneto Shiozawa, so yeah. Puck's going to have a very nice voice. Puck will also go a little bit more into his trickster persona! I'm taking a wide defenition of "[your character was/is decietful]", so the bats really saw him and went "Oh okay, we've got your number."

He'll also be attending the parties, and will be feeding on blood and energy during the event. I'm really leaving it open to whatever would be the most fun for others to play out, and I'm always OK with hand waving if blood stuff makes anyone uncomfortable!

Non event plans: Just getting through the month like normal- he's been finding more blankets for House Trick or Treat and probably getting into coffee because of the season. Do vampires drink coffee? This one does.

Anything else: Really the back half of this month is just me watching horror movies like I'm paid and I'm fine with that.

Katsuki Bakugo | My Hero Academia

Event Plans: Got plans for Katsuki to get chomped by a wolf. Because how could I pass up the opportunity when his Halloween design is a werewolf? Also expect him to get involved in lots of the competitions. He's highly competitive.

Haru is a Persona user/member of the Phantom Thieves who targeted her own father due to a not so great upbringing, as abuse is a common theme in P5. She was expected to be a puppet/obedient daughter and she decided it was time for her teenage rebellion with guns. Despite the general shitty elite she grew up around, Haru cares a lot for others and is a kind and polite girl. She's been through some difficult times as in spite of changing her father's heart, he got super murdered and now she's left with complex grief surrounding that.

She's a great friend to have and very loyal to those who establish deep bonds with her and treat her with love and mutual respect. Basically, max out her social link and you will have a friend for life! She won't hesitate, bitch. 🔫

• October is a heavy month for Haru. It's the one year of her father's passing on the 11th, so she may appear distant or distracted to her friends.

2. Vampire shenanigans could happen. Hyth knows what a vampire is from his time in the game before this one, and will freely offer blood until he also gets bitten by a bat!

3. Hyth can drag anyone hesitant to a party, just let me know if you want your character to be there and we can say Hyth dragged them along.

❀ Section 1: Basil will inevitably fret over both the plants and his beloved cat. He will be asking over the network if anything can be done to help, but will be seen otherwise using his earth magic in an attempt to try to awaken any plants. Marigold will remain somewhere safe. He'll catch glimpses of Kel, Aubrey, and Sunny who were all from his home. Dreamers who speak with him will see a change of deamenor, but he won't speak to what he's seeing. I'll also have a prompt where he will be affected by one of the plants from the past TDM.

❀ Section 2: Basil will be changing into a werewolf. He'll more than likely attempt to hide himself at first before any instincts kick in. Any Dreamers are more than welcome to attempt to calm him before he does anything he might regret. Going to play this as that he'll feel more compelled to work with a vampire rather than not.

❀ Section 3: Slice of life!! Come enjoy the party with Basil.

Kris is the leader of a band of heroes destined to save the world! Alongside Ralsei and Susie they keep the balance of light and dark in check, closing off the Dark Fountains that have been appearing in their small hometown and befriending the Darkners that dwell within them. In their off-hours they're a normal human teenager dealing with normal teenager things like school, video games, being the only human in the entire town, the constant battle of wills between themselves and the supernatural entity living in their chest that dictates their every action and must remain oblivious to their true motives at all costs, and their parents' divorce. Wait what was that other one again

okay but really, Kris is kind of a freak for a dozen different reasons. They're a sarcastic antisocial brat of a teen, known for being a troublemaker whenever they do decide to interact with other people. They're also possessed by the most heinous type of supernatural force in the world: an extrovert. They are out there, talking up every single person they meet with a million different personal questions, hating every moment of it.

Kris will be trying their best to stay out of trouble... until they find out people are turning into werewolves and stuff. Then it will be a battle of wills between their Soul trying to keep them out of danger vs it would be really really cool to be a werewolf, it'll be FINE what's it gonna do try to KILL THEM?? If you want to rescue Kris only for them to be kinda mad about it please hit me up.

Unfortunately for them I think it would be way funnier to make them a vampire so that will eventually happen. It's like being a normal human except now they have a thirst for blood and an allergy to all the normal foods they like and they can't go inside buildings without permission! yay!! Maybe they'll get bat powers as a consolation prize if I'm feeling generous, we'll see.

ALSO quick note that I'm probably gonna focus mainly on tagouts this time and not make a toplevel, so if you DO wanna do something with Kris let me know!! I will come to you or set up a closed log or w/e.

Non Event Plans:

NOTHING SPECIFIC they spend most of their downtime exploring because their Soul has a compulsive need to check Everything. They may or may not be banned from the docks for rummaging through crates. Go drag them on a quest or something idk, they're available!!

He loves to play cruel games that will leave the players at risk. He is a villain in the story, and he doesn't want to make friends. ...or does he?

Section 1: not sure about this one. he'll probably get into trouble with the flowers, again, since he didn't learn from his mistake the first time. heh. while i would love to see a walking Elder Faerie Cookie, i just don't think it's possible here. but he'll be around to meet your dead loved ones!

Section 2: werewoof. awoooo. i'm thinking he will probably make an attempt to hide from Pure Vanilla Cookie. interested in playing out his slow transformation, and he's around if you want him to bite you.

Section 3: probably will attend at least one party. poke him to chat, or try to become his friend.

General Info: Sephiroth is the product of human experimentation, was raised to be a soldier, and spent some time as a war hero before learning about his origins and having a violent emotional breakdown. He did try to destroy the Planet and become a god, but he doesn't see any point to killing everyone here yet so he can almost behave like a normal person. You know, one who suppresses all his feelings and sees other people as tools. He is getting slightly better maybe? Alucard gives him a score of 5/100 in Friendship.

Event Plans:
Section 1 - I do not remember what the flowers do but I will probably be game for some flower shenanigans! May they get their revenge.

Section 2 - Sephiroth won't be transformed, but I do think it would be funny if vampires and werewolves both mistook him for one side or the other. He's got those spooky eyes to help him pass and just generally that not-quite-human vibe.

Section 3 - He's not super interested in parties. However!! He will probably be taking this opportunity to do his little Jenova funeral rite since eternal night feels right for it and the wild weather has finally died down. He won't invite people but he could potentially be observed - just don't expect a positive reaction. He may also enjoy the fireworks.

Non Event Plans: He's been doing some quests to pay for food and such. As always spending a lot of time at the library. Nothing bad has ever come of this.

General Info: Jayce is smart, friendly, and good natured. But, he's also someone who has been beaten down a bit from the world. He can almost seem naive in his search for peacefulness and his desire to trust and help people, but he's learned a lot at home and this isn't quite what he was. He's a blacksmith, inventor, scientist. He also enjoys creative hobbies like art and cooking.

Jayce is the protagonist who was doomed by the narrative, but is okay with that. He's also not someone who runs from his problems and he tends to face them head-on and even wrecklessly. He would do absolutely anything for the people that he cares about. Though that can sometimes seem a bit selfish.

Physically - note that he has a leg brace on his left leg and requires it to walk. He also (finally) made himself a swordcane that he's walking with.

Event Plans: Just a quick overview. I'll probably top level!

Flower effects probably! I don't remember them all, but I'm probably going to pick a couple and run with it. He'll also be happy to help others dealing with stuff. Oh, and he'll be very concerned about his cats here being asleep!

He'll be very curious about why there's things that aren't being impacted by the sleepies so he'll be wanting to look into the things.

He'll be a vampire. He'll exhibit some of the bad qualities (dishonest, impatient, envious) especially. So it will be noticeable that something is off.

Non Event Plans: No plans, but I'm always glad for easy going stuff. Text threads with current CR, coffee dates, just casual hanging out and meeting new people, too.

Harry Du Bois | Disco Elysium

Character Name: Harry Du Bois
Canon: Disco Elysium
Character Age: 44 45
General Info: Harry is a drunk (though currently trying to stay sober), self-destructive mess who loves people but hates himself. He’s extremely empathetic for the downtrodden, and very, very driven. When he gets an idea in his head, he’s incapable of stopping. Even deliberately wiping all of his memories didn’t make him stop; all it did was show the only thing Harry knows what to do is work.

He’s also the protagonist of his canon, and a good 85% of the dialogue in the game is Harry’s shattered and disconnected thoughts talking to each other. In game, he’s a pseudo-customizable protagonist in that you can choose how he interacts with the world and exactly how much of a hot mess he is for the duration of the game. It’s all Harry, though. • Werewolves and Vampires: Catra's already a bit paranoid and doesn't let her reflexes drop that often. She's unlikely to let a wolf or bat get close enough to bite her... Unless perhaps a dreamer takes a more active effort. 👀 Options for some short term negative CR until they talk it over later. Also interested in handwaving Catra being werewolf bit and trying to hold back her new wolf-rage with others trying to help her stay calm/in control and potentially getting a bit hurt out of it.

Section 1: I will probably do something with the flowers just for a relatively normal prompt. Will figure it out once I see the list!

Section 2: Tenna will be getting bitten by a wolf and turning werewolf! He will not hit the dangerous stage of that until ICly the last week, before that it might be harder to tell anything's wrong because he... already has claws and fangs. They will just be out all the time, mysteriously. Why does a TV have claws and fangs? Uhhh next question.

Once he transforms more though Tenna WILL be dangerous and because he's already neurotic and possessive, this will just go into overdrive. He's extremely likely to try and kidnap anyone he likes and just keep them with him while he's like this - and 'anyone he likes' will include 'anyone he's spoken to one time'. I am also 100% up for Tenna getting violent and attacking people like this, but will make these closed starters so do tell me if you want this!

Section 3: Tenna will be at the parties, and my intention is for him to be doing this prior to going off the rails in werewolf mode. So he'll be more fun there :)

General Info: Ebisu comes from a modern-day setting where a variety of supernatural creatures happen to be real... and if his name is familiar, that's because Ebisu is a literal god. He's one of the seven Japanese Gods of Fortune, who has transferred from the god school to be an assistant teacher at the youkai school Hyakki Academy... apparently to keep an eye on his little brother. To complicate things, even though he has a pleasant surface personality, Ebisu actually hates youkai and barely seems to tolerate certain people and students at the school. While he's not an outright villain, he is basically That Bitch in the office who is not-so secretly judging everyone. He has not been settling in particularly well because he's still without his luck powers and hasn't regained those yet.

Event Plans: Soooo Ebisu is a total scardey-cat. He will not like the eternal night, the ghosts, or the dangerous bats and wolves one bit.

That means Ebisu is going to be barricading himself inside of his cottage for most of the event. I will be making a top-level so there'll be reasons he has to leave his house periodically, if only to buy food or because he got dragged to a party. That means Ebisu is open to getting turned by other characters! While he'll be high-strung and naturally a little suspicious in general, it'll still be very possible for someone to get a nibble in on him.

Non Event Plans: Last month, Ebisu not only regained his luck powers, but also maxed out the water powers he got from the potion! He is now a salty super-soaker. I'm always up for doing quests or more casual threads (particularly now that Ebisu can take more dangerous quests), and I have a catch-all log up if anyone's interested in that.
