About The Character: Poppy is a very sheltered low-level wizard who has been foretold to become one of the greatest seers her world has ever known. She was put under contract at birth so that when she came of age and finished her studies, she would serve as the personal advisor to a wealthy lord. But the thing she wants more than anything is to live a life of adventure, and to decide her own fate instead of having it decided for her!

Same class!! Poppy will be excited to have another wizard around, even if she herself is still fairly low level and has yet to actually do much (i.e. any) adventuring of her own. Your guy looks interesting! I hope you decide to app!

Hey! I have a reincarnated Lancelot here with a not-so-great destiny that she feels like she's trapped in, so maybe they could be low-key :handshake emoji: about that. Cordelia also has a tendency to like... adopt anyone younger than her if Poppy needs an older sister figure.

Heck yes, Poppy will relish in having someone to complain about grand destinies with. And she's an only child who has never had anything resembling a sibling, older or younger... AKA she is ripe for adopting!

Yes, good-- though I think it'll also kind of break her heart that someone else has to deal with a grand destiny. But it'll do them both some good, I think, to have someone to talk to about it. Time to reclaim their agencies and identities. 👏

Cordy's pretty much in the same boat @ not having any siblings, so signed and adopted.

Heck yes, reclamation of agency is the name of the game!

Poppy's got the double whammy of having neither siblings nor friends, so she might be a bit rusty on social etiquette, but she's generally not a hard person to get along with, once you remove her from her wizard school environment and the pressing need to study as hard as she can to fulfill that destiny of hers.

Heck yes! One of my favorite games, tbh. Cordy might have a lot of mixed feelings about her own, but that won't stop her from trying to help someone else.

Obviously, this means that Cordy should take Poppy under her wing and take her shopping. Also maybe how to punch someone?? You know, normal older sister stuff.

Poppy doesn't have the frame of reference to know that punch-teaching is not a normal sibling activity, so she will have to take Cordy's word for it

LOL excellent. There is no possible way any of this can go wrong. (Really, though-- Cordelia tries to be a positive influence so it'll likely just be taught for self-defense when needed.)

Hi fellow OC! Arrakis is also a sheltered mage who just wants a life of adventure instead of the one that was chosen for him. His destiny involved turning into a magical being that could potentially destroy the world but it's fine. He's just a friendly ball of sunshine with no secrets, honest.

TBH, hearing that someone else's grand destiny is worse than her own will make Poppy (selfishly) feel a lot better...

Don't worry Poppy, Arrakis will understand and if being a little selfish helps her feel better he doesn't mind. Despite the bad, there are some parts of being a mage that he does like so he's not sure he could honestly give it up, even if his existence is dangerous. He's also selfish.
