Welcome to our February CR meme! This post is our monthly CR meme for everyone, an OOC intro for our New Players and also serves as a place to make some plans for our next event which will go live on February 15th. Below you will see the Event planning form as well as an Event Outline for our upcoming event.

A Royal Audience

• A Royal Forum is being held in Stellari where Seravo himself will appear - Dreamers are encouraged to attend
• There is food and drink, mingling is encouraged
• Seravo announces that he will be returning the powers that Dreamers sacrificed during the November event
• Throughout the month, Dreamers who sacrificed their regained abilities will feel the powers slowly begin to return, and they will have returned fully by the New Moon
• Seravo opens the forum to questions - one question will be allowed per character, with short Servo threads in response; please keep IC questions to IC knowledge

Flower Petal Affliction
cw: disease, blood, body horror

• Dreamers who are withholding something important / hiding a secret will develop a cough and begin to feel sick
• Locals are aware of the disease and warn that it will progress quickly unless the truth is told
• The afflicted feel symptoms such as fever, headache, weakness, difficulty breathing, and a persistent cough which produces flower petals and blood, as roots grow in the lungs
• The disease also causes increased feelings of mistrust for the people around you
• The afflicted WILL die if the disease is not cured, and it can only be cured by confessing the afflicted's hidden truths

Crystal Corruption

• Corrupted clusters of crystal begin appearing in the swamp, where local workers are stationed, tasked with destroying it - Dreamers are asked to help
• Getting close to the corrupted crystal will cause feelings of mistrust to grow between the Dreamers working together, worsening the longer they are exposed
• Dreamers must work in pairs of twos or threes to clear corrupted crystal
• Dreamers will help remove corrupted crystal from the swamp by either crushing clusters, helping snakes who are afflicted with the crystal, skimming the waters for crystal clusters, or removing crystal clusters from trees
• Crystal clusters are collected in small bags that are to be returned in exchange for a small amount of cords (up to three bags)
• Crystal clusters are also appearing in Lumindeas, which Dreamers are also asked to help clear
• Crystal rings (similar to fairy rings) can only be cleared by two Dreamers standing in the middle and telling a truth
• Crystal in the woods can only be cleared without using magic
• Domestic animals are infected with the crystal and must have it cleared, as well as wolves from the woods, which much be healed so they don't spread the parasite
• Those who clear the crystal in town are asked to bring them to a purification dance, where they will be paired up and taught a dance similar to the tango; it increases trust between the partners

Truth & Trust

• The Uweih religion is holding truth & trust exercises at the gold crystal to promote healing from the flower petal disease
• The event has the atmosphere of a festival, with music, food, games, and other pageantry
• Dreamers are encouraged to participate in activities such as trust falls, telephone, two truths & a lie, etc. (there will be a list of activities and directions for how they work)
• Participating in these activities will help Dreamers start to feel better if they are afflicted with the disease, but only if they've addressed the hidden truth that is making them sick

There will be a header comment for all questions aimed at Seravo on the event post. The NPC will be available for one question per player. In order to keep the tag load manageable, the threads may be kept fairly short. Seravo reserves the right to ignore or talk around any question he doesn't want to answer. Only those who attend the Audience can ask questions of Seravo.

All questions/thread starters should be posted before February 18th 11:59pm CST. After the end of February, any threads with the NPC will be considered wrapped.

Vol'tha Doneeta | Star Wars: Legends OC

Character Name: Vol'tha Doneeta
Canon: Star Wars: Jedi Academy
Character Age: Mid 20s to early 30s (she isn't sure)
General Info: A Jedi Knight from Luke Skywalker's Jedi Praxeum on Yavin IV, Vol'tha grew up as a bandit in the deserts of Ryloth, an orphan. This makes her a rather more practical Jedi than usual.

State Of: Cautiously optimistic as the post-Vaeros era evolves. Though she's always going to keep her eyes on the situation, and undoubtedly is doing what she can to keep the peace in little ways.

CR Desires/RP Wishlist: I'd love to get into a little shippy goodness for her. She's got a lot of love to give. While she likes most people, she really likes people with a good streak to them.

Non-Event Plans: None, but I'd like some - happy to meet new people or renew/grow other acquaintances.

Event Plans: Well, her and Misa are going to get into a lightsaber duel thanks to the mind-altering properties at play - and we're more than happy for anybody to witness two Jedi in the fullness of their abilities throw down. I've got nothing else solid yet, but I'm happy to hear suggestions.

Korra | The Legend of Korra

Character Age: Canonically, 21. By now, in game, she's 22.
General Info: She's the big damn hero. She is the Avatar, a much-reincarnated balance between two worlds and protector of the innocent. That being said, she's taken her knocks for trying to do the right thing - and still keeps trying to do the right thing.

State Of: She's doing...ok. The longer she goes without her close friends and families, the more things are weighing on her. What she needs is more of her friends in-game and to meet new people to give her the emotional support she sometimes is too stubborn to admit she needs. (People should definitely apply more LoK characters, that would be smashing. :P)

CR Desires/RP Wishlist: I will take anything - you toss an idea at the wall, I might go for it. I'll certainly consider it, I'm very easy going about making plans. Definitely need to make some new CR for her to keep things going.

Non-Event Plans: Chise and her will be giving Naga a birthday party, and you're all invited, because Naga is the Goodest Girl.

Event Plans: Nothing has occurred to me yet, but that also means I'll take any whims people have and we can absolutely run with them.

Eda Clawthorne | The Owl House

Character Age: Early 40s. (Mama's still got it.)
General Info: A powerful witch (currently de-powered), Eda is both an experienced magic user and a bit of a conwoman.

State Of: She's building up a Coven of Witches of various descriptions. The old-fashioned, anarchic commune sort, because she wouldn't have it any other way. She's also working towards getting her abilities back. And then her Palisman, Owlbert, because she's missing flying.

CR Desires/RP Wishlist: Anything! Friends, enemies, chaos, slice of life - she's good for it all. She's Very Spoken For because she's rather strongly bonded to a Bard Back Home, as it were. But other than that, let's have at it. She can be down to earth or mayhem-causing, so we've got a lot of room to run.

Non-Event Plans: Other than a Coven Meeting in the month, no.

Event Plans: Well she's gathering as much magical material as she can as ingredients for tinkering with potions. (I should have mentioned above she's a skilled potion maker). Other than that (maybe someone to help her) I'm open to suggestions!
