Just a few things this month, thank goodness! We're really only a month into 2025, wow.

Rules Reminder
Please take a moment to read or re-read our rules page. We do expect our player base to abide by them and do their best to interact with each other and us maturely and productively. Should I be made aware of issues or behavior that break our rules I may issue strikes, final warnings, or bans depending on what I and/or my team feel is appropriate. Generally speaking, I will try to issue a warning/strike before a ban. At the end of the day, we are a private, invite-based game and I reserve the right to issue these things at my and my team's discretion in order to protect the peace of the game and the players who play here. Any questions or uncertainty surrounding these rules can be brought to me and the mod team at any time.

Rewards Based Housing & Drops
This is a reminder that housing based on a player's rewards disappears when the character/player leaves the game. Unfortunately, if your characters live in a house/castle/other residence that is not owned by them when the owner drops from the game, they will have to find somewhere else to live. We do not closely monitor housing, but we will make the effort to keep track if we see that this is a point of confusion for players!

FAQ & Locations Overhaul
We are still working on these overhauls, and my part of it is taking longer than I intended it to, I'm very sorry! They should be finished sometime this month, as I am able to get the time to sit down and update these pages. My time this month has been tight due to RL and Health obligations. Thank you for being patient! The FAQ is a big and greatly tedious overhaul, and every time we get more questions in we have to do more work.

Please reserve the FAQ for big, important setting-related questions or other questions that will greatly affect play or that have the potential to affect the setting for everyone, not just a few characters. Some examples of what we mean are below:

• "Does Lake Termina have fish?" is not a question we want you to take to the FAQ, it's easily assumed that a lake would have fish unless there's been an environmental change. It's safe to say that most of our locations can have basic, general things assumed and played with without checking with us first.
  
• "Does Lake Termina have man eating fish / Is Lake Termina affected by a flesh eating bacteria?" Might also seem like FAQ appropriate questions, but unless we have noted it's likely these things do not exist in the lake outside of possible events.
  
• "I saw that that Yhaveh Forest neutralizes magical weaponry. How would that affect my character who is made of magic?" This is a good FAQ question, as it could affect how more than one character interacts with the setting, and adds broader understanding to the location.

Re rewards housing: Is there a way to oocly "transfer ownership" of housing ahead of a character disappearing, then? It would be hard for a character to 'plan' for this sort of thing since they just disappear (although I suppose knowing it's a possibility they could disappear at any moment, an argument could be made that they would actually plan for it with their housemates), and if something happens oocly that causes a player to have to drop unexpectedly, it seems a little unfair that potentially multiple other characters would then have to be displaced.

Or "joint ownership", or something?

That's a fair point, and I'm willing to say if the characters have contributed reward points to the housing this would be something I'd allow, but I'm really hesitant to allow the inheritance of large rewards to players who haven't put in the points for it if that makes sense. It doesn't seem fair to the players who have paid for housing, or the ones who don't get to inherit housing.

If there's a way to make this equitable, I'm all ears.

Discussing it with the mod team, what we could do is offer remaining players/characters a chance to wish the home to stay/wish it back after the owner leaves, for a discounted price depending on the type of housing. I think this is a solid possible accommodation for everyone while keeping it fair.

hello! i'm seeking clarification re: one ac point. the page says,

"AC threads Must be made in the current month, and be on a post no older than the previous month."

however, i noticed one person have to redo ac because their thread started in december, which was deemed ineligible for january ac.

my question is: can threads begin in the previous month? or is it only the post itself that can be from the previous month?

Only the post itself can be from the previous month. The whole thread needs to be in the current month.

I can clarify this on the AC page, and I'm sorry it wasn't clear before.

Got a question Re: housing, it seems our Izuku player was given a conflicting answer to the above rules when they asked before. So we've all been playing as if our characters still live in that house based on that response. Given the circumstances I wanted to reach out to ask how you'd like us to proceed.

Considering this answer was less than a week after I picked up the reins of the game and was still ironing out how I wanted to take things going forward, just consider it grandfathered in.
