Welcome to the game, newbies! To our current dreamer crew, glad you're still with us! This post will act as an OOC intro for new players and a CR meme for everyone. Below you will see the CR meme form as well as a Event Outline for our current TDM. There will also be a "Sleepr" post later this month, next weekend infact! Low stakes fun CR building. Look forward to it!

Garden of Dreams
dreamers are brought to the enchanted garden
two flowers, Agapanthus and Snapdragons causing sleepiness or energy
dragonkin arrive to guide new arrivals from the garden and take them to the new portal that has appeared.
Within Somnius
sun is up, still snowing 24/7
Locals want the dreamers to leave Somnius and go to Lumindeas, but THEY DO NOT HAVE TO, nor do they have to move their business - can if they want, but not required
Seravo's voice welcomes the dreamers to the new setting
Passing through the portal, dreamer feels their greatest current desire in an overwhelming manner
The Land of Lumindeas
the land is large and varied with plenty to explore.
it is winter and snowy, though crisper and lighter than the atmosphere in Visium
Portal Settlement outside of the city is where Dreamers wind up
Farms with animal and crop specialties exist and require hands to help
Yhaveh Forest is labyrinth like and dangerous, it's possible to get lost
There's a seashell gathering contest for those who want to participate and street food vendors for anyone visiting
The airships offer travel to an overnight trip through the Air Cliffs and an overnight trip to the hot springs in the Crystal Spires
Into Starlit Walls
the city is massive, and overall welcoming
Dragonkin are a dominant race of locals
Vaeros will have a funeral, a lantern lighting ritual as proclaimed by Seravo, his brother.
The royal quarter, the place where all dreamers have the option to live is looking to decorate with emotion-filled streamers
The greenery is having a paint-fight-contest for fun and profit
The dockyards are looking for a few good fishermen, but the water sure seems to have strange properties...
There's a criminal element evident in the city and appropriate locations such as bars and smoking dens and card parlors to hang out in.
Gilded Wishes
Dreamers are drawn to the golden crystal in the center of town
The crystal here replaces the crystal used for rewards in Visium (here)
The golden bracelets (seen during the 4th wall event) may contain memories of the original wearer or dreams/visions of their world if taken care of
Dreamers are encouraged to change their grand wish (the wish that made the contract); IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO, please respond to your original application with your updated wish, or it won't be counted
The crystal is offering welcome gifts; you can choose any ONE out of the five options per player

Character Name: Kurogiri
Canon: My Hero Academia
Character Age: 31, but it's a bit complicated....
General Info: Kurogiri is a (former?) villainous henchman, but he comes from a canon point at which he is starting to remember his true, original identity—who is neither villainous nor a henchman. It's a lot to deal with, especially with an ongoing war at home and his concerns about his son (who's not actually his son). So he's currently not the most villainous of villains, and you're more likely to find him acting helpful and polite at the moment.

Desired CR: Always more connections desired! There is no kind of CR I don't want. It can be hard for Kurogiri to open up to people and be "himself", especially as he's still coming to terms with who he is, so you may find him formal and more distant at first. He can be a friend, an opponent, a mentor, an assistant, a guardian, a "straight man"... He is in favor of cooperating with other Dreamers, but won't hesitate to stand against anyone who antagonizes those he cares about. That said, he is fairly tolerant of a wide range of people, and his morals have been skewed by more than a decade spent operating as a villain. I like the idea of him adopting other villains, in his own strange way.

Monthly Plans: Kurogiri doesn't have a top level on the TDM, but I have been tagging around with him. He is available by request. I'm planning to put him on sleepr as well. If anyone is in need of a quest partner, Kuro is reliable and competent. He will also go out of his way to help you if you get into trouble—regardless of how you got into that trouble. He lives with Tomura Shigaraki, but he also maintains his own residence. If anyone needs a place to live, he could take in one or two strays. He will cook for you.

RP Wishlist: I always enjoy playing around with Kurogiri's identity issues and drawing out his "other" self more, and exploring how the two sides of him can work together or clash. A chance for him to sacrifice himself for someone would please me greatly, and I have a soft spot for him looking after young people, or others who might benefit from a supportive figure in their lives. I have an equal appreciation for dark themes and silly nonsense, so please don't hesitate to throw either at me.

seriously though Dito is fascinated by Kurogiri and wants to learn as much as he can about him (and that fascination will increase exponentially if he ever gets back to his shadow form).

AND YOU SHALL HAVE IT

God, I really want to see how their CR develops... Kurogiri is accepting of/protective of Dito, but there's still a distance there. Haha, yes, I am considering shadow form/warp gate constantly, so it may well happen!

God him extending his Dad Vibes to Dito would gladden my life. At the very least I hope they get close enough that Dito trusts him to listen and give advice.

This is very slowburn endgame stuff, but I'd also love for Kurogiri to eventually feel comfortable enough with Dito to talk about the whole [REDACTED] going on with him and Shigaraki. Not sure if they'll ever get to that point, but hey-- a gal can dream.

I do love to extend the Dad Vibes. There is definitely Dad Vibe potential.

And yes! I would love for them to reach that point someday, too. Right now, one of Kurogiri's main reasons for not talking about CERTAIN CANON ISSUES is that he doesn't want Shigaraki to know his future, but who knows what may happen to change things...

I'm really interested to see how that develops.

It probably doesn't help that Dito isn't sure how he feels about Shigaraki. He's good company and he's great in the sack, but he hasn't really thought about their relationship any further than that. I can see Kurogiri being cagey around Dito as a result due to not wanting his not!son to be hurt.

Maybe they can eventually reach enough of a rapport that Kuro helps Dito navigate through his own feelings about Shig, that'd be pretty cute.

Yes, Kurogiri is wary, since Shigaraki has no experience with such things, and he doesn't want him to get hurt! His EQ is also higher with his inner Oboro more active, so this does make him aware of the possible negative consequences.

And that would be a great outcome, if we can get them there!

oh man, i don't know much of anything about MHA but the fact that Flat has a tendency to orbit around those who have "identity" as part of their main arc, i think it'd be interesting to throw him at kurogiri! (also the fact that he seems to have a shapeless foggy form is also very fitting)

Oh, yes please! Identity is a huge part of his character arc and its resolution, and I would love for them to get some CR regardless! I do really enjoy Fate, but I sadly haven't watched or read Strange Fake yet so I only know bits about it.
