Welcome to the game, newbies! To our current dreamer crew, glad you're still with us! This post will act as an OOC intro for new players and a CR meme for everyone. Below you will see the CR meme form as well as a Event Outline for our current TDM. There will also be a "Sleepr" post later this month, next weekend infact! Low stakes fun CR building. Look forward to it!

Garden of Dreams

• dreamers are brought to the enchanted garden
• two flowers, Agapanthus and Snapdragons causing sleepiness or energy
• dragonkin arrive to guide new arrivals from the garden and take them to the new portal that has appeared.

Within Somnius

• sun is up, still snowing 24/7
• Locals want the dreamers to leave Somnius and go to Lumindeas, but THEY DO NOT HAVE TO, nor do they have to move their business - can if they want, but not required
• Seravo's voice welcomes the dreamers to the new setting
• Passing through the portal, dreamer feels their greatest current desire in an overwhelming manner

The Land of Lumindeas

• the land is large and varied with plenty to explore.
• it is winter and snowy, though crisper and lighter than the atmosphere in Visium
• Portal Settlement outside of the city is where Dreamers wind up
• Farms with animal and crop specialties exist and require hands to help
• Yhaveh Forest is labyrinth like and dangerous, it's possible to get lost
• There's a seashell gathering contest for those who want to participate and street food vendors for anyone visiting
• The airships offer travel to an overnight trip through the Air Cliffs and an overnight trip to the hot springs in the Crystal Spires

Into Starlit Walls

• the city is massive, and overall welcoming
• Dragonkin are a dominant race of locals
• Vaeros will have a funeral, a lantern lighting ritual as proclaimed by Seravo, his brother.
• The royal quarter, the place where all dreamers have the option to live is looking to decorate with emotion-filled streamers
• The greenery is having a paint-fight-contest for fun and profit
• The dockyards are looking for a few good fishermen, but the water sure seems to have strange properties...
• There's a criminal element evident in the city and appropriate locations such as bars and smoking dens and card parlors to hang out in.

Gilded Wishes

• Dreamers are drawn to the golden crystal in the center of town
• The crystal here replaces the crystal used for rewards in Visium (here)
• The golden bracelets (seen during the 4th wall event) may contain memories of the original wearer or dreams/visions of their world if taken care of
• Dreamers are encouraged to change their grand wish (the wish that made the contract); IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO, please respond to your original application with your updated wish, or it won't be counted
• The crystal is offering welcome gifts; you can choose any ONE out of the five options per player

Malleus Draconia

Character Name: Malleus Draconia
Canon: Twisted Wonderland
Character Age: 178
General Info: A rather morose Night Fae prince, of the dragon variety. Malleus is a big scatterbrained lizard that comes in a handy travel-sized human form for convenience! Of course that means his more feral and wild personality quirks make less sense to those that do not know what he is. He tends to come across as incredibly unsettling and ominous, and thus winds up being kind of a loner. He's actually awkward and shy, prone to bouts of insomnia, very fond of gargoyles, and is doing his best to learn more about his short-lived neighbors (with mixed success). Basically the three parts of his brain (The prince, the enigmatic Fae, and the large apex predator) are in a constant struggle for dominance.

Housing Plans: Lives in a little run down cottage in the middle of bumfuck nowhere with Jamil, Kalim, Lilia, and Elan (house may be moving to new area)

Desired CR: Boy needs more people to be completely and utterly baffled by him honestly. He's a weird, silly lizard, with an incredibly unsettling sense of humor.

Monthly Plans: Malleus has no schedule. He's like a cat that wanders around looking at Stuff, and then taking naps. He's been meandering around in his true form more often, so if anyone wants to mention seeing a big black dragon as a conversation topic, by all means

Otherwise like the other two I'm just tossing him to see what sticks

RP Wishlist: I actually having nothing super set in stone other than "powers back" and amybe "Use said powers to throw a dumb party for no reason", but that's way off int he future.

It might be cute and fun if these two met! As a fellow "doesn't know how to people" she would think he's pretty neat regardless of what form he's in. Would definitely draw him a picture to put in his crumbling little cottage.

oh but you see, he will laud himself as a human EXPERT! And give her the world's worst advice on peopling.

But go ahead and toss her at him, I am canonblind but skimmed through her app, and Fae are wonderful with kids. In that.... "we kidnap them because they delight us" kind of way. Don't worry about it.

All fae-inspired kidnappings are encouraged--she'd love to go hang out in creepy ruins and appreciate the gargoyles. She'll take all his incredible advice to heart and share it with all her new human friends!

Time to give the small child a sword and SEND HER OFF ON ADVENTURES! Please let her have other adults trying to counter the Fae Bullshit that she's going to pick up from the Fae House

Absolutely more of these two. I love how casually curious he is about Mal, and also just how he just casually accepts the weirdness.

Though no sleepr for Mal, he's just so bad with technology I struggle justifying him using it.

everyone is but if he kept in touch with malleus I could see him personally inviting him - idk if they've really spoken since the party tho LMK

We can handwave them running into each other around town or whatever. Malleus has a penchant for wandering around, especially at night. (given Odasaku is a tavern/bar regular, I imagine they might cross paths to or from that?)
