He might have done bad things and deserves to be punished for what he did. But resorting to violence and hurting him isn't any better than what he's done.

I didn't mean it like that. But you shouldn't hurt him just because you can. If you do then it's just going to keep happening and nothing will ever change.

The cycle of harm or retaliation doesn't apply to entities who are Gods or Gods alike.

That would be better than killing him. And in all that time, maybe he would be able to reflect on what he's done and learn from it.

When you give those who will not change the chance to hurt again, you are giving them the opportunity to merely take advantage of what mercy you have left.

When the flames burn away a great forest that once stood, does it not cycle the ashes of death it made in its wake?

Death is not so evil, nor is bringing it unto others so cruel.

Especially unto one who does nothing but destroy and give nothing to his cause, [ A prompt pause. ] killing entities like this is okay.

Otherwise, you just enable them.

That is why BB will do it.

So humans have their hands clean, and no cause to effect will come from it. It will be hers to own, and hers to deal with alone.

[It just seemed wrong. Aang had found a way to stop Firelord Ozai without killing him, and brought the hundread years war to an end. Couldn't they find a way to do the same here, a way that didn't involve taking the life of another being.]

Death is a part of the cylce of life, and there's balance. But taking the life of someone else, it doesn't seem right. There has to be a better way.

You should have to get your hands dirty either, or have to live the burden of doing something so awful either.

Humans choosing to kill what they do is a natural part of that balance, ultimately, especially when you harm one another. Which, is a frequent ordeal. Regardless, you cannot hold the standards of an entity beyond your own conception, the same way you hold moralities among your ownkind.

This is an entity akin to a God; he will disregard your pragmatic understanding, choosing to value his own moralities he has self-picked out.

Trying to think you can hold yourself in his dark waters, it's stupid.

You might as well just be begging to die.

That said, humans will do as they do; if you truly feel you are in the right, then all you need to do is beat BB to the punch before she goes ahead and tries to kill him.

It will happen; me or someone else stronger, surely will.
