• OOC INTRO + EVENT PLANNING •

Welcome to the game, newbies! To our current dreamer crew, welcome to our next event! This post will act as an OOC intro for new players, a CR meme for everyone, and a place to make some plans for our next event which will go live on November 17th and end November 30th. Below you will see the CR meme form as well as a Event Outline for our upcoming event. As this month also contains a 4th wall element, I have also included a section to explain this element.

• 4th Wall •

Welcome to our 4th wall styled event! This event will be open to anyone on dreamwidth to participate in, though mods will have the final say. 4th wall characters, or "visitors" will appear throughout the city of Somnius upon the start of the event. Upon the conclusion, all Visitors will be gone. Perhaps temporarily should our 4th wall friends decide to apply in January or another time! 4TH Wall Participation Rules and Requirements

• No Doubles. If a character is already in game, another version cannot be played as a 4th wall "Visitor".
• CRAU & AU are both allowed (with the exception of doubles)
• Our One Month rule stands for playable content. A canon/chapter/episode/etc must have been released for one month as of the beginning of the event to be eligible for play.
• Players intending to 4th wall MUST post a plotting comment and link it in our Visitor directory.
• Players who do not want to post a top level simply need to fill out a comment under the Visitor directory with their Name and Contact Information. Their header should be the character they intend to play and the canon.
• Current players may also play 4th wall characters. There is no limit to how many characters one can play in the event.

Visitors Arrive

• Cracks and tears in Vaeros’ barrier appear and mysterious Visitors appear all over the city of Somnius
• Other than the mysterious arrival of these Visitors nothing really seems awry, though Visitors that arrive in this manner are easily identified by a gold cuff bracelet around their left wrist that cannot be removed by any means.
• Prompts included will facilitate interacting with the setting and locale while giving new players a chance to explore the setting as it is normally
• Visitors do not remember a contract with Vaeros or a wish being made. Curious.

Control Slips

• Over time, the setting starts to break and things stop working as they normally have
• Strange weather effects occur all over and at the same time. Blizzards, heavy rains, heatwaves.
• Night and Day begin to swap over and over again. Somtiemes it’s day for a few hours, then twilight and day again. There’s no rhyme or reason to it
• The chaos will bring visits from creatures previously fought by the dreamers including the shadow wolves, the fireys and the IRS.

  OOC Note: Linked TDM plotting posts are for reference of these mentioned creatures only.

• Cracks in the island form, spreading and causing ravines that seem to drop clear to inferna... These cracks will appear all over, including in Somnius but will not disturb places marked as homes.

Returning Magic

• Vaeros appears as an image in the sky, his face painted across the sunset sky and starry nights. He demands repayment if Dreamers wish to survive.
• Dreamers are given the option to go to the crystal and pray, returning rewards they have been given with earned shards to repower Vaeros.

  OOC NOTE: The rewards that can be sacrificed can ONLY be powers or high stakes items that facilitate character abilities. Regains to housing, mundane items and similar are not valid. Anything that is voluntarily sacrificed during this event will be returned at a later time via another event and cannot be regained with shards in the meantime.

• Dreamers that sacrifice these regain will temporarily be granted an extra potion power during the event that can be utilized at full power to help others in their efforts to save Visium.

Working Together

• Natives are the key to relieving the issues throughout Visium in the meantime. They are highly keen to encourage interaction between Dreamers and Visitors
• Interacting and working together in groups mixed with Visitors and Dreamers will soothe issues and heal ravines/cracks in the ground.
• Natives have set up tasks to facilitate this, sending visitors and dreamers across Visium to complete quests.
• By the time the event is scheduled to close and enough magic is returned to Vaeros to control his land, visitors begin to flicker and disappear. They leave behind their gold bracelets.

Eren Jaeger | Attack on Titan

Character Name: Eren Jaeger
Canon: Attack on Titan
Character Age: 19
General Info: Eren is both the main protagonist and the main antagonist of his series. He is a cold, unfriendly guy who rarely shows any emotion, and has more interest in ripping you apart (physically, emotionally) than he does being your friend. Negative CR is likely, but positive isn't impossible.

Housing Plans: he lives on a farm called Horizons with his partners/family

Desired CR: I am down for most anything. I don't really have preferences on what kind of CR I want. Eren is a tough nut to crack, and new CR may find it difficult to get a positive interaction with him, however he can be broken down over time. He is a guy who feels everything and shows nothing. Down for enemies, or people trying to be friends - tense CR will probably happen regardless. Eren has been in the game for about a year now, so mostly, I just want all sorts of new CR or to build upon old CR that hasn't quite gotten into his Inner Circle yet.

Initial Plans: Eren has gotten his footing a bit more since returning from his canon update, so he is starting to move toward fighting for the cause again. November is rough for him due to a few people from home arriving, but he likely won't be getting into all that with anyone. He'll def be interacting with the event, which...

Event Plans: Definitely interested in Eren working toward alleviating the cracks/erratic weather/other anomalies. Might have him do a few quests? I def will take the opportunity to interact with some fourth wall characters, so please reach out if you're trying out the game and want a thread. ALSO I'D LOVE FOR SOMEONE TO...if not convince, at least talk to Eren about the possibility of sacrificing one of his powers...there's probably at least some aspect he might give up? unsure...I want to thread this and see what he decides.

And then, of course, a handful of combat threads is always nice - I just don't want to do a whole ton.

Sunny / Omori | OMORI

Character Name: Sunny / Omori
Canon: OMORI
Character Age: Sunny is 17; Omori is ~11
General Info: Sunny & Omori are dual protags from their game. In Labyrinthum's setting, they share a body. Sunny is a timid, easily frightened, severely depressed young man who prefers to sleep through all of his troubles. Omori is his protector, who takes over for things Sunny can't handle; however, Omori hates Sunny, and Sunny fears Omori. Omori is also the type to stab you if you get too close. Have fun!

Housing Plans: the boys live in a cottage with Aubrey, Kenma, & Xie Lian

Desired CR: WOULD LOVE MORE FRIENDLY CR FOR OMORI, but also am down for tense/antagonistic CR for him also. I also always love more friends with Sunny, but honestly? He could stand negative CR. I don't think anyone has negative CR with Sunny. So, that would be really fun - especially if it pissed him off too.

Initial Plans: Sunny / Omori are very settled in the game. I've worked through a lot of their arc that I've wanted to work through, so I'm really looking for ways to try to push them in new directions/find new conflicts? I don't love to plan that sort of thing specifically, but I'll see about moving threads toward directions of new development. They're just kind of vibing right now. They're both finding their identity more.

Event Plans: I'm largely going to focus on Sunny/Omori interacting with 4th wall characters / trying to alleviate some of the strange phenomenon like fissures and weather, etc.. But I am open to other things. Not quite sure what I want to do. Let's plot? :}a

ALSO!!! Sunmori have their full healing powers now, so I'd love the opportunity for them to heal someone if they get hurt in combat, since it seems there are a few combat options, like the wolves, etc.

Oda Sakunosuke | Bungou Stray Dogs

Character Name: Oda Sakunosuke
Canon: Bungou Stray Dogs
Character Age: 24
General Info: Oda is a "haunt the narrative" character, purpose being to play the role of a large influence in another character's life. He is an easygoing dude, though he doesn't look very friendly. He's patient, nice enough. He's described as someone who "has no ulterior motives", and it's true. He's very genuine, doesn't often lie, and takes things very literally. He's also a fantastic sharp shooter and has future sight, which makes him decent as hell in a battle. Another character who FEELS EVERYTHING, SHOWS NOTHING.

Housing Plans: he lives in a cottage with his husband Osamu Dazai

Desired CR: I don't have a ton of CR with Oda, mostly due to him being newer to my roster, and a reserved dude - so, really, I'm open to anything. He has basically no negative CR, but honestly, he's hard to get negative CR with. He's such a patient, easygoing dude. LMAO. Dazai is on a mission to get Odasaku friends, so...let's get him some friends! He has about three right now. He also makes a GREAT protector character - will "adopt" if you're interested

Initial Plans: Dazai just returned from a canon update, and it fucked Oda up really bad, but he's feeling better now. He is...pretty content to stay in Somnius, so he's not like itching to battle against the metaplot or whatever, but he's there to help if people need it - more focused on the people than the overall goal?

Event Plans: Once again interested in repairing fissures/other weird phenomenon happening. He has his ability, Flawless, back now, so I really want to be able to use it (please check permissions post and opt-in/out, etc.). Could have him shoot a few wolves out of the way or something - idk! There's lots we could do. I'm pretty open to most things. He's the type to save people though, so he'll probably largely be running around making sure people don't fall into inferna.

RP Wishlist: FRIENDS FOR ODA! And I wanna use Flawless. I wanna use Flawless in a way that the other RP partner gives hints in their brackets for things to look out for. IT'S FUN!!!

Character Age: mid-thirties? it's kind of nebulous - he's dead and he looks like an old man
General Info: Uri was once the leader of the royal family who possessed the power of the Founding Titan, which he would have liked to use to create paradise, but learned pretty quickly that isn't actually possible. He is one of those wise, sagely characters that seems to know everything (because he's omniscient lowkey), and it's very hard to get under his skin, but he can still rage if he wants to.

Setting Interests: I don't have many setting-specific wishes, but I'll def play around. I think he'll be really fascinated by the place. I always want AoT characters to see the ocean, too.
Event Plans: He'll probably be helping try to solve the anomalies / right what's going on - definitely not the type to sit idly by, so maybe we can get some action going.
