Additional announcements:

• Some quick reminders again about our normal AC requirements:
  
  • AC requirements are 5 comments in a single, concise thread. Please don't link to a top level with multiple branching threads, as it is much easier on the mods who check AC if they don't have to scroll up and down to count the top level comment as one of the 5 comments in a thread.
    
  • Also, AC is waived for a character's first month in game. Newly apped characters MUST create their permanent top level on the AC page and comment on the month they app in “First month pass.” This makes checking AC easier for us! They must also comment to the Taken List page.
    
  • Characters on HIATUS must comment on their AC that they are on hiatus. Please still use the text form provided. You can link to your hiatus comment, or just say "Hiatus."
    
  • A hiatus must be a minimum of 2 weeks long to qualify for AC exemption. We do not allow retroactive hiatus requests. If you have emergency circumstances, please contact the mods for an exception.
    
  • When turning in AC, please use the entire form provided, including player name and character name. Please do this even when you're just checking in. This will make our AC mod's job easier.
    
  • Threads used for AC must have been started in the current month. This means that all comments in the submitted thread must be from that month.
    
  • Players/Characters who demonstrate habitual inactivity may be issued a warning at mods' discretion.
  
  
• New players who are reserving a character should please wait for their invitation to be approved first, and then link to the approved invitation comment in their reserve/application. As a reminder, we have discontinued blanket invites for friends of mods as well as mod invites. All incoming players must have an invitation from a current player, posted to the Invites page during the Invitations/Reserves window.
  
  
  
• Reserves and Invitations are open now. Applications will open at 9am CST on 8/5, and close at 9am CST on 8/10. Our TDM from last month is still active. The OOC Intro/Plotting Meme for this month's event will go up on 8/10, and the event itself will be posted on 8/12.
  
  
  
• As previously announced, there will be a slight change in our schedule for the remainder of the year! Our next Intense Event will last for the duration of August and September! As such, we will not open applications in September, nor will we have a new TDM. Instead, the next TDM will be posted in October, which will be a relaxed month, followed by our next Dream Event in November. As always, anyone who wants to submit their character's canon for a future Dream Event is welcome to do so here! After that, we will have another Special Event for December, like we did last year.

I haven't dropped? Why am I on the drop list? I am so confused. I apologize if I sound panicked. July was a hard month for me and this caught me off guard.

We have two requirements for newly apped characters: that they comment on the Taken list, and that they create an AC page comment. You did the latter, but not the former, and were thus swept.

I somehow thought that referred to the comment to the Taken list on being accepted (in my defense, I haven't been in the best frame of mind due to a personal tragedy in July). If I quickly made a comment to the Taken page, might I please be reinstated?

It does refer to commenting on the Taken list page upon acceptance into the game. According to our records, we never received such a comment from you.

We are willing to make a one-time exception in this instance. Because we have already processed the drops/swept accounts, you will need to re-request access to the game communities, as well as make new comments on the AC page (as well as the Taken list page).
