Blake feels a quiet dread tighten the back of her throat, because she thinks she can guess where the rest of this story might be going. She gently coaxes Thor to continue, and there the rest of the story unfolds: Magni's death at the hands of Kratos, Modi's attempted revenge, followed by his own death.
Thor's voice stumbles and cracks and goes hoarse in places, and though he's trying not to show much emotion, it's coming out anyway, because the story is awful. His children, dead at the hands of another god, and in the most brutal of ways, too.
All Blake can do is listen, and reassure him when she can. And when he's finally finished his story, she wraps her arms around him in a hug, and squeezes as tight as she can, letting him know that, at the very least, he's not alone here.
