"Can't see how I'd do that." Thor replies, and he really can't. There's nothing Blake could have in her past, nothing that she could have done that would amount to the trail of bodies Thor has left in his wake. She's not given up on him. How could he not return that kindness?

In the end, what had finished Asgard wasn't peaceful negotiation, but the other Realms banding together to stand up to All-Father. "Sometimes you gotta fight." Thor's fought too much in the past. A lot of why Asgard had to be destroyed came down to that fighting. "My problem was, I never knew when to stop, or how." Maybe it still is, but now at least he's trying to work on that.
But what Blake says, about being a young girl, younger (more or less) than Thrud, being caught up in the passion of someone else...someone older, something about that starts to get Thor's hackles up, but not at Blake.
