Yang doesn't wear much makeup, so Blake had been thrilled to be allowed the opportunity to give her some. It's not that she thinks Yang would look better with it -- in fact, she's pretty sure Yang will always be at her most gorgeous without a ton of makeup -- but it's still fun to experiment!
"I know, sorry," she laughs lowly, finishing up with the blush. She'd done some light foundation with a tiny bit of contouring, mostly just to enhance Yang's jaw and cheekbones, and the blush had added the finishing touches.
Somehow, Yang is adorable in that stupid burger onesie. Even with how tired she looks. Even with the bruises. She's been through a hell of a month and she's still willing to come to a sleepover with Blake and indulge her love of makeup. Blake doesn't think she could love her any more than she loves her in the moment.
She sits back, humming thoughtfully as she goes through eyeshadow colors, holding palettes up to compare them to Yang's coloring. "What do you think? Normally the rule for the best complimentary eyeshadow color is to go for the opposite color of your eyes." As Yang has no doubt seen on Blake; her purple eyeshadow is the opposite color across the color wheel from her yellow eyes. "So technically yellow or gold would be the best color to really make your eyes pop."
