i. arrival When one has too many wishes, and can't wish for more wishes, what does the chosen wish say about the mind? Was it truly the wish she wanted most of all, the one she was most used to wishing for, or simply the first to come to mind? Did it even matter?
All this was already fading as Althea woke with a groggy groan... then freezing as she felt not bed sheets and pillows but grass and sunshine. Scrambling to sit up, her hand caught on the bag's straps near her and tipped it, allowing a bottle with clear liquid and a bottle with bright gold liquid to clink and roll out. The 'Drink Me' sign was ominous, as was the other note inside, and the absolute lack of her electricity. In an effort to stop herself from immediately panicking, she shoved all of it back in the bag, stood, slung it over her shoulders, and tried to take stock of her surroundings.]
Hello??
ii. draconic departure [It was a big gathering, simple but clearly visible with lanterns and blankets, and so it seemed natural to investigate. Going where the people were was the quickest way to gain information, right?
But she couldn't in her wildest dreams predict the sight she saw as she got closer to the cliff, stopping short in awe at the myriad of colored wings and scales she saw.
Part of her wonders if she shouldn't be there, or at least, whether she should keep a distance, but she can't help inch closer as the gathering goes on, eventually standing close enough to watch them soar away. And unfortunately, it also put her in range of a fistful of powder hitting her, causing a sneezing fit, and turning her hair a bright blue hue.
Gah, what, huh?
iii. mystic grotto, outskirts [By no means is she prepared to go exploring in something like a cave, when she barely even knows where she is. Even less so when it's surrounded by water. She might not have her electricity, but... she wasn't sure she could actually swim really, should something happen.
That doesn't stop her from sitting near enough to see the cave entrance, watching the people coming and going with interest, both to gauge the people around and to try and get hints as to what was inside.
iv. suspicious message The guardian angels, for still treating me like I'm useful and helpful.
