There was so much relief in Essek's eyes and he was so glad that Caleb could not see it, instead he swiveled in the sand and made his way toward Caleb, and thank gods with the sanctity of shades he could see that Caleb was relatively unharmed, that he was safe but he wondered now if the rest of the others had been pulled into this strange world yet and it was only a matter of finding them.

So many questions danced through his mind. But if the Overseer, whomever they were, saw fit to bring Caleb to him-- he was not going to complain.

It was quite easy to launch right into shop talk, as wizards were wont to do. Magic was easy, it was a passion that they both shared, same with knowledge-- something that had driven the two of them on their respective paths. "I take it that you have discovered that we are without our powers." except Essek did have something-- he'd, at a new acquaintances' suggestion, drank from it.

He wondered briefly if Caleb had taken that same chance as well, well there was one way to find out. "If you found a bottle with you, you will get some level of power depending on the colour."
