Wiping at his brow with the back of his wrist, Maccready watches the woman approach. It's odd enough on its own, what with the way the locals have been giving everyone a wide berth. A nod in response to her question, the hint of a scoff. "Oh, yeah, sure, I've never been better." The words carry some bite to them, heat clearly getting to him.
His head dips and he puffs out a long sigh, surely he doesn't look that bad. "Sorry, I um. Look, that's kind of you to offer," Maccready and doctors, historically, they haven't really gotten along. "I don't think I need a doctor, though…"
