Application Reminders and Policies
Due to recent confusion we wanted to remind everyone of a few policies regarding applications, and make everyone aware of a new policy going forward, including this round.

• Applications Open as soon as the calendar turns to the 5th of the month at 12:00am CST/CDT. Applications posted earlier than this time will not be considered for the application round. Similarly, applications posted after the 11:59pm CST/CDT on the 10th of a month will likewise not be considered that round.
  
  
• As stated on our applications page, we require apps to be posted nested underneath the correct header. This benefits the mod team and players, making it easy for all of us to find applications down the road, as well as streamlining the application processing procedure. As a result, when applications are posted in an incorrect place we do not consider them for that round. If an application is posted in error and then moved to the correct spot without prompting, no harm no foul — accidents happen. However, if we process applications and see an application has been left posted in the wrong place, we will notify the player their app will not be considered for the round. This has been and will be the continuing policy.
  
  It is best to make sure you are posting your application in the correct space to avoid creating more work for the mod team or yourself!
  
  
• Going forward once your application is posted, avoid excessive editing. We all notice things after the fact, and understand a quick edit or two. However, this makes judging applications needlessly difficult for the application team when the edits become numerous, as they may or may not be reviewing an out of date application. For now, we will handle this on a case by case basis, but if the problem persists we will be disallowing edits after posting an application completely.

4th Wall Event
We're opening the game up to another 4th wall event this coming April! Hooray! Our feedback told us that this was a fun experience and that you all would enjoy another. This upcoming intense event in April will be our next 4th wall event, with this month's TDM being the precursor to it. The 4th wall event will function largely the same as it did the last time we ran it, therefore the plotting post for the April Event will be going up early.

April's 4th Wall Plotting & Signups will go live on April 1st. No, this is not an April Fool's joke!

For quick reference, basic rules for 4th Wall Signups are below:

4TH Wall Participation Guidelines

• No Doubles. If a character is already in game, another version cannot be played as a 4th wall character.
  
• CRAU & AU are both allowed (with the exception of doubles)
  
• Our One Month rule stands for playable content. A canon/chapter/episode/etc must have been released for one month as of the beginning of the event to be eligible for play.
  
• Players intending to 4th wall should post a plotting comment on the plotting post when it goes up, and link it in our 4th wall directory OR if they do not want to plot, simply post a comment on the 4th Wall character directory before the event starts in order to indicate interest.
  
• 4th Wall signups are First come first serve.
  
• Current players may also play 4th wall characters, they must ALSO sign up. There is no limit to how many characters one can play in the event.

Quests and Labyrinth Exploration
We have decided to rotate traditional Quests with our Labyrinth Explorations now that the Labyrinth is once again open. What does this mean? Functionally, Quests will now last 4 months, and instead of bimonthly board updates there will be a round of Labyrinth Exploration Signups its place. We want to try this for a while and see how we all like it.

Labyrinth Exploration Months: May September

While we will not be updating the Quest Board with quests on Labyrinth Exploration months, players are always allowed to make up their own quests to find on the board and run with them how they wish.

A Reminder on how Labyrinth Explorations work: Players will sign up for each character once with a partner (or solo should they wish). They will then receive a randomized room/outcome for their exploration result. These rooms will have varying adventures, situations and trials for Dreamers to experience and either fail or conquer.
