Welcome to our August Intense Event Plotting meme! This post is our monthly CR meme for everyone, and serves as a place to make some plans for our next event, which will go live on August 9th. Below you will see the Event planning form as well as an Event Outline for our upcoming event.

Ideal & Opposite
Dreamers wake up to find that the Labyrinth has re-opened, and they are drawn to exploring it.
They can only escape by trying different doors, which appear along its walls. Doors can only be entered by two or more people at a time. Partner up!
Dreamers may encounter green or red doors; green doors show the Dreamers their ideal future, while red doors show the Dreamers the worst possible outcomes for their life. They experience these realities as if they really lived them.
These doors will not lead to an exit. More doors must be tried.
Just a Glimpse
Some doors lead to pockets of the Dreamers' respective realities.
They can walk through the reality as if they were ghosts, but cannot interact with or change anything.
They will leave these pocket realities without achieving an exit from the Labyrinth, and aspects of the reality might temporarily follow them out.
These doors will not lead to an exit. More doors must be tried.
Many More Doors
There are dozens of different types of doors, all of which may lead to different random results.
For this section of the event, you will sign up using the form below (on this post) to submit for an rng'd Labyrinth room (some of you might remember Labyrinth explorations - these are the same). Results can be positive, negative, or neutral.
These doors will not lead to an exit. More doors must be tried.
The Right Way Out
Seravo & Myrta respond to the crisis by inserting their own doors into the Labyrinth. These doors serve as the only exits.
Myrta's door leads to the purple crystal in Visium, and Seravo's door leads to the gold crystal in Lumindeas.
Dreamers are compelled to make a wish at the crystals after they exit, for which they receive one of two special gifts.
Those who pass through Myrta's door will feel extremely tired for one week. Those who pass through Seravo's door will be unable to sleep for one week.
Locals become friendlier to anyone who passes through their land's door.

Welcome to our Intense Event plotting for August! We're gearing up to reopen the Dream Event element of the game after it's been retired for over a year. Please enjoy and explore a taste of what's to come!

General Info: Vil is ans actor and model by trade and, at his core, the most aggressive mom friend you will ever meet. He's like the Gordon Ramsay of self care. He strives for perfect by being a little better every day than he was the day before, and will push people to try and be the same. While aggressive, brutally honest, and hard to please, he does genuinely try to help others be the best they can be, so long as it's something in his wheelhouse and he can see genuine efforts being made.

In short he's vain and prideful, and a harsh critic, but one that does genuinely want to help even if that's just pestering characters to drink their water.

Just a Glimpse

This is so my jam. I feel like Vil's whole meltdown/overblot would be great. Or the one time he was an actual hero and wound up a wrinkly old man for it. There's also just a lot of Twisted Wonderland Shenanigans for something funnier. If anyone wants gayer villainier harry potter high school tour, Vil is here for it. His dorm has a dungeon for some reason! He doesn’t think it’s weird.

Vil FINALLY got his cinema! He'll be working some of the kinks out since it's more antiquated than he anticipated, but he'll be on the lookout for actors, tailors, artists, and so forth.

Character Age: 30+
General Info: Dolph’s story is a typical one. He grew up on the streets, joined the military for a better life, got horribly injured and then became a cyborg supersoldier and the face of a fascist dystopic company. However, he realized they Sucked and ditched them. However, due to not paying his medical bills, he was being hunted as Eden’s property and they sent the state police after him. Isn’t capitalism fun?

On the outside, Dolph is an incredibly taciturn and blunt person, verging on rude and sarcastic. He doesn’t have much experience with friends or family and has been betrayed over and over again, which makes it hard for him to open up to anyone. He just wants to live a peaceful life, preferably with a nice boyfriend and have no one kill him or sell him to the highest bidder. Life goals. He is kinder and more compassionate than he lets on, he just lacks any emotional acuity to go with it. Though after a year in Laby, Dolph had become much more stable, kinder and willing to do what it takes to help others. That’s who he is. Who he was meant to be.

General Info: The Big Darn Hero of her story. She's the Avatar - the only person in her world who can manipulate all four elements, with a destiny to defend the world and keep balance between the human world and the spirit realm.

In short, she's a good egg! I'm terrible at these sections!

Character Name: Annie Leonhart
Canon: Attack on Titan
Character Age: 20
General Info: Annie is a former solider/warrior (and thus also war criminal) who was stuck in crystal for four years (and most the run of her canon, double thumbs up and a big grin from the player, guys) and then released when the worst possible ending was happening for the world at large. Ends up both helping then trying to walk away from the final confrontation, only to come back and end up helping prevent the end of the world because kids refuse to give up these days. She does not have a great self-image, she is a realist and more often pessimistic than not, her sense of humour is incredibly dry, and the one hobby she has is hand-to-hand combat. But also, she cares about people around her, and for the first time in her life she's actually allowed to, so that's great emotional muck to wade through. She's not great at it, but she's trying. She's also severely allergic to death, pass it along. Yay!

Event Plans: Everything. I enjoy events like this, though big, heavy warnings: Annie's canon is rife with war, monsters, war crimes, technical cannibalism, so many deaths, and countries run on ideals that no one is going to love. She's a child soldier, a shape shifter into a Titan historically, and raised in violence; she was much angrier when younger, and only learned lives have value at like, eleven. She destroyed a country with her warrior cohort at nine.

Red/Green Doors
The ideal future is a kinder, more peaceful one; the worst possible future is going to suck. A lot. I don't assume anyone wants to see that, but hey, if you want "what if after attack on titan ended we had it get worse again" I can write a horror show for you!

Pocket Reality Doors
I'll run this very choose your own adventure, and it's the easiest way to have Nicer Things: happy moments in time, sad moments in time, action moments in time. Basically qualifying what you want to deal with ICly/OOCly, because I can easily have pocket reality leading to moments that run from comedic to horrific, and would want to match to tone. What kind of moment in reality from her world would you want to ghost through? What kind of emotional tone?

Many More Doors - RNG
I'm 100% here to RNG a room for people to enter together, and face whatever consequences arise in the process. When your life is full of hallways and doors, you get used to opening them and walking through no matter what may lie on the other side. You just gotta keep going until you can get out.

Right Way Out
If anyone wants Annie as an exit partner, she has zero strong feelings about either Seravo or Myrta, and will leave through either door without a fuss.

Non Event Plans: I'm happy running through any of the quests on the quest board! I was intended to put up a log for those and write up various starters, let me know if you're interested in questing with Annie.

General Info: Qifrey is a witch who teaches magic to four students. He is an eloquent, well-meaning sort of person who always has time to offer a kind smile or support. He cares deeply about knowledge and education, especially when it comes to supporting the Youths. However, Qifrey is nursing a Grudge of immeasurable proportions which pushes him to do things that put his life in jeopardy. Thankfully, he doesn’t care much about it!!

General Info: An orphan from the deserts of Ryloth, Vol'tha was hidden away to keep her safe from the Empire - but after her death, she spent years as a bandit before being found by a Jedi from Luke Skywalker's newly-reborn Jedi Order. Now a fully fledged Jedi.

General Info: He's a member of The Eternals, a crew in which you have to oocly grind to acquire one unit at a time. Once a vanity unit, now, with power creep, reasonably easy to obtain.

They're basically very scary in universe, infamous, etc, known as being the strongest. Besides being a part of this crew, Quatre hangs around Stardust Town and takes care of small children. Duality of catboy.

I'm mostly going to keep things downlow as I'm accepting that a lot happens to me all the time and I either vanish for a few days or boomerang for a few hours intensely with no in between.

He doesn't feel pain and is very much of a mind to protect people and yokai as much as possible, since he puts their lives above his own. He's got very bad social skills and is doing his best.

General Info: Birdboy, aerial support, a really depressed kid. He's a '90s kid stuck in a bird's body... he got back from the end of the war at home and he's really unhappy with the way it ended but he's trying to move forward.

Event Plans: I really want to show people his world! Though I'm not sure which part... could be a lot of places including the giant hole in his city and probably a graveyard for people who died in the war. Ideal future is kind of /handwiggles since I don't want to show him what happens three years later yet. His worst future is kind of already there but it could be even worse!
Non Event Plans: He's trying to set up something for soldiers, like a support group. This may be doomed to fail, lmao.

Character Name: Isaburou Ebisu
Canon: A Terrified Teacher At Ghoul School!
Character Age: 120+, looks early 20s
General Info: Ebisu comes from a modern-day setting where a variety of supernatural creatures happen to be real... and if his name is familiar, that's because Ebisu is a literal god. He's one of the seven Japanese Gods of Fortune, who has transferred from the god school to be an assistant teacher at the youkai school Hyakki Academy... apparently to keep an eye on his little brother. To complicate things, even though he has a pleasant surface personality, Ebisu actually hates youkai and barely seems to tolerate certain people and students at the school. While he's not an outright villain, he is basically That Bitch in the office who is not-so secretly judging everyone. He has not been settling in particularly well because he's still without his luck powers and hasn't regained those yet.

Event Plans: Just to start with, I'm open for Ebisu to end up exploring with just about anyone! Any size groups, friends or strangers, throw it at me. I'm also happy to have Ebisu experience other people's doors.
Ideal & Opposite - Ebisu's ideal future is just living with Sano back in the godly realm of Takamagahara. Since that's boring ~~and I'm not too sure what that place looks like~~, I'm more interested in the worst outcome door for Ebisu. This would involve him having fallen to become a youkai, now living in a cave on his own because he's somehow isolated everyone from Hyakki Academy. Namely, he'd be an ikuchi and take the form of an extremely long naga who's constantly producing a slimy oil from his scales.
Just a Glimpse - If anyone wants to see the youkai school Ebisu was teaching in, or some of the town that's populated by youkai, feel free! This will likely be a very chill prompt, except for getting to see some comedic stuff happening around them.
Many More Doors - I'll gladly do an RNG room with someone, gimme.
The Right Way Out - Probably going to have Ebisu get hit with the no-sleeping consequence. His cottage is going to be sparkling clean once that week is over.

Non Event Plans: I'm also happy to get Ebisu involved in doing quests or just hanging out with people! If you'd like to see him somewhere specific just let me know. He doesn't have a job yet and hence will want to try at least a quest or two, just keep in mind that he has no fighting ability right now and will also shy away from anything excessively messy or gross.

General Info: Alucard is the son of Dracula. His mother was a human. His real name is Adrian Tepes but he’ll never let you use it. He’s old as fuck now. To him, everyone is baby. He is the ultimate babysitter. He fights monsters and vampires in black leather. While he seems kind of placid and quiet, he can be a sarcastic asshole when he chooses to be. He has a strong core of compassion, but compassion is very much of a choice and in his temper, he is very much his father’s son.
