With the fourteen parts of their souls rejoined, mankind would become as it once was: living as long as each one pleased, gifted with creation magics, able to shape the world as it will. The price of doing so would be, of course, the murder of all other beings. Twice over, for once they regained that world, they would sacrifice all the life that remained to restore those who once sacrificed themselves to preserve those who remained. They would recreate a paradise that once was, building it on the bones and souls of others... and then they would die, in time, one way or another, for such a society cannot persist eternally.
