To an extent. I have never had much of one to compare to. But knowing there is someone here to go back to at the end of the day...that is something to consider when taking into account for one's 'home', is it not?
[ Piltover was not his home, not in the way one would expect the word to mean. For him, living topside was almost as bad as living in The Lanes, in Zaun. To both places, he was a misplaced, disabled outsider, easy to ignore his existence, easy to just cast aside. In Piltover, he was considered damaged and as a Zaunite scrutinized from the very beginning. In Zaun, it was much the same, and he wouldn't have lasted very long there just by the sheer scope of his disability. To both, he was simply ignored and never given a chance by either. No one believed in him not really, not until Jayce. And so he uses his own sheer force of will to continuously grasp and climb up from the cliff's edge, against opposing forces that wish to see him fail.
But here it's different. ]
But since we are stuck here for the time being, calling this place one's home will suffice for now. Lacking as it is in a variety of ways, there is no lack of other intellectuals to bounce ideas off of. So, yes, perhaps you are right that there are people to 'snowball it' as you put it. I intend to at least try to parse together the conundrum that we all face in this place.
