Welcome to the game, newbies! To our current dreamer crew, glad you're still with us! This post will act as an OOC intro for new players and a CR meme for everyone. Below you will see the CR meme form as well as a Event Outline for our current TDM. There will be a "Sleepr" post later this month, this coming weekend infact! Low stakes fun CR building. Look forward to it! We will have an updated quest post going live later this month also.

Garden of Dreams

• dreamers are brought to the enchanted garden
• two flowers, Corpse Flowers and Gibralter Campions are causing amorous feelings and intense feelings of hatred.
• Outside of the garden, newly arrived Dreamers are guided to the town of Somnius, from there they can choose to settle in the unfriendly hamlet or choose to explore further, beyond the portal and into the land of Lumindeas.

Something... A little Romantical

• Dolph Laserhawk is hosting a speed-dating event at Club Quartz
• Those seeking romantic OR platonic connection are encouraged to attend
• Even those who would not normally be interested feel a magical compulsion to attend & an overwhelming craving for connection with others
• Guests may find that their informational placards are already magically filled out for them
• There are a list of questions to potentially discuss, some of which were not put there intentionally by Dolph
• Those who feel a connection are encouraged to participate in mini-games (spoon passing, hide & seek, charades, jump rope, three-legged race)

Nicefield's Nest

• A strange settlement has appeared at the edge of Stellari, with buildings that resemble both those of Lumindeas and Visium
• Beings that resemble rabbits, called Loporrits, emerge from the building
• They are obsessed with helping and want Dreamers to help each other too
• Dreamers are asked to poll fellow Dreamers about their satisfaction surrounding the world and report back to Pollingway and Surveyingway (Loporrit npcs)
• The Loporrits are building a help center, but the Lumindeas government is not necessarily reacting well
• Dreamers are asked to go complete good deeds for others while the help center is being built
• Dreamers are asked to try various Loporrits businesses and help advertise to spread the word
• The Loporrits are very persistent and doing as they ask is the only way to get them to leave you alone

Cleaning Efforts & Haywire Powers

• A revitalization effort is taking place in Visium
• Mytra is providing materials to help smash up the crystal in Visium, and is encouraging the use of destructive power if necessary
• Seravo is asking for samples of food, water, soil - anything - from Visium to study the phenomenon occurring there
• only while within visium, Dreamers' abilities are going haywire
• abilities are behaving strangely - engaging at random times, diminished or increased effects, inability to control, etc.
• Dreamers are also experiencing random gold/blue/red potion abilities even if they have never drunk a potion - random bursts of elemental magic, random animal transformation, random healing abilities, etc.
• Dreamers are also sharing abilities; standing too close to a Dreamer with an ability will cause the other Dreamer to start displaying aspects of that ability (diminished from their full power) for a short time

Suspicious Message

• Some receive a suspicious message on their phone from an unknown user (this is opt-in; if you wish to opt-out, simply assume your character didn't receive the message)
• Dreamers feel compelled to respond truthfully to the message, but once they do, the result is publicly posted for others to see/respond to
• "If you were to suddenly feel someone's hand in your own, whose hand would it be? But whose hand would you want it to be?"

Character Name: Junah Cygnus
Canon: Metaphor: ReFantazio
Character Age: Early 20s
General Info: Junah's a famous singer in her home world, but she's also a member of a Resistance working to break the crown prince's curse. Their ultimate goal is to install him as the rightful successor to the throne. To pull this off, she schmoozes infiltrates her way into the main antagonist's good graces in order to find information on how to break the prince's curse. She's pretty headstrong and carries herself with an air of confidence...... under normal circumstances!! Unfortunately, she's lost her magic here, which is a Problem given that she's from a race that disguises their true forms with magic. Without that magic, they'd be stuck walking around as their 2-foot bobblehead selves. Incidentally that's how Junah finds herself right now, so that's a little harrowing WHOOPS (here's what she looks like RIP).

Desired CR: tbh anything goes for Junah! She's fairly easy-going and isn't too put-off by more abrasive chars since she's not afraid to stand her own ground. Though in general, she'll probably be pretty good at drawing more reserved or shy chars out of their shell! Otherwise come one come all I open my arms wide for All the CR...

Monthly Plans: I'm floating the idea of putting up an open log/mingle at one of the local businesses for a game night sort of log? idk I saw people saying in the game Discord saying they miss playing party games IC and I will be frank I want to see chars throw hands IC over Monopoly so I am happy to enable. If people are interested in this I'd be down to get something going!

RP Wishlist: No wishlist here But I think Junah is a char who is better at helping enable other chars, so if you have someone who needs to be pushed a little out of their comfort zone Junah's feeling more secure about being 2 feet tall now and happy to tote others along into shenanigans. Otherwise. Opens my arms again.

Anything else: Finally got off my ass to fix up Junah's journal and I'm taking suggestions for what to replace "header title" on her navigation page with. Let's hear those ideas...

Canon: Persona 3
Character Age: 17
General Info: Physical embodiment of "Nihilism: Nothing matters (existential dread) vs Nothing matters (fuck it we ball)." High school student who drifts through life and gets roped into others' shenanigans no matter how stupid they might be. His idgaf attitude and flagrant disregard for his own well-being can be alarming at times but!! He's genuinely quite nice so surely that counts for something... He's from post-canon so he kinda showed up here assuming this is just?? What retirement looks like for him?? Technically speaking, landing in Laby isn't an illogical sequence of events after his canon point so he's just chilling.

Housing Plans: Minato's in Somnius with a sweet Hill House thanks to Kazuya... He'll be living with Yu so that's the other person you might see if your character pops by to say hello!

Desired CR: I don't have any specifics in mind... I rarely ever do... But I can typically come up with any excuse for Minato to be literally anywhere since he has the jrpg protagonist itch to go wandering around. Characters who'll be willing to push him a little out of his comfort zone is always fun CR for me though, especially since he doesn't feel like he has anything else to really do with himself. Or chars who challenge his world view could be fun as well! But tbh yeah just give me anything. Yay

Monthly Plans: I'll be continuing my threads from the TDM to get his headphones and music player back, but mainly just looking to build CR! Make some friends, even if he's a little uninvested in that atm. What can I say it's hard to motivate oneself when you feel like you've accomplished everything you thought you wanted to do in life... Otherwise if you're looking for a warm body for a quest yes he is easily dragged off to do Things!

RP Wishlist: Someone to crack his little brain open to get him thinking about using this second chance at life to do things and explore things that He wants to do, but otherwise... holds my arms open for everything...

Somewhat related but idk what you are up to with Batty but Minato is probably inclined to be hands off re: whatever fallout they have unless things get messy. But dw Ken, Minato doesn't blame you for what happened and if anything He's the one who feels like he probably should have kept a closer eye on things oops

very excited to see how their dynamic winds up in lab!! do you use reload canon at all btw? i really liked their cute scene in shinji's linked episode thing and the little cooking and gardening bits together.

I do use some of Reload canon!! Tbh when it comes to this guy I take all versions of him, stick them in a blender, and then write based on what I feel is cohesive on that mix. I did think the cooking and gardening stuff was cute tho so I'd be down for something in that direction? He is ..... probably going to be more of an observer though re: whatever is happening between Shinjiro and Ken, but he is available if either of them needs an ear...

ohhhh that makes sense! i def use bits and pieces from various parts of p3 for shinji too, like the dinner party for SEES in the manga (if that's something you're interested in! no worries if not haha)

as for the Ken Situation, shinji is def trying to like...keep his distance. for now. i think once minato's settled in shinji MIGHT ask him to keep an eye on ken but also he feels weird abt doing that bc minato sure did watch him die,,

he's not sure how to deal w that at all so i would love for him and minato to have some awkward hangouts gently ignoring that elephant tbh. just like, what death, there is no october 4th in ba sing se.
