Welcome to the game, newbies! To our current dreamer crew, glad you're still with us! This post will act as an OOC intro for new players and a CR meme for everyone. Below you will see the CR meme form as well as a Event Outline for our current TDM. There will be a "Sleepr" post later this month, this coming weekend infact! Low stakes fun CR building. Look forward to it! We will have an updated quest post going live later this month also.

Garden of Dreams

dreamers are brought to the enchanted garden
two flowers, Corpse Flowers and Gibralter Campions are causing amorous feelings and intense feelings of hatred.
Outside of the garden, newly arrived Dreamers are guided to the town of Somnius, from there they can choose to settle in the unfriendly hamlet or choose to explore further, beyond the portal and into the land of Lumindeas.
Something... A little Romantical

Dolph Laserhawk is hosting a speed-dating event at Club Quartz
Those seeking romantic OR platonic connection are encouraged to attend
Even those who would not normally be interested feel a magical compulsion to attend & an overwhelming craving for connection with others
Guests may find that their informational placards are already magically filled out for them
There are a list of questions to potentially discuss, some of which were not put there intentionally by Dolph
Those who feel a connection are encouraged to participate in mini-games (spoon passing, hide & seek, charades, jump rope, three-legged race)
Nicefield's Nest

A strange settlement has appeared at the edge of Stellari, with buildings that resemble both those of Lumindeas and Visium
Beings that resemble rabbits, called Loporrits, emerge from the building
They are obsessed with helping and want Dreamers to help each other too
Dreamers are asked to poll fellow Dreamers about their satisfaction surrounding the world and report back to Pollingway and Surveyingway (Loporrit npcs)
The Loporrits are building a help center, but the Lumindeas government is not necessarily reacting well
Dreamers are asked to go complete good deeds for others while the help center is being built
Dreamers are asked to try various Loporrits businesses and help advertise to spread the word
The Loporrits are very persistent and doing as they ask is the only way to get them to leave you alone
Cleaning Efforts & Haywire Powers

A revitalization effort is taking place in Visium
Mytra is providing materials to help smash up the crystal in Visium, and is encouraging the use of destructive power if necessary
Seravo is asking for samples of food, water, soil - anything - from Visium to study the phenomenon occurring there
only while within visium, Dreamers' abilities are going haywire
abilities are behaving strangely - engaging at random times, diminished or increased effects, inability to control, etc.
Dreamers are also experiencing random gold/blue/red potion abilities even if they have never drunk a potion - random bursts of elemental magic, random animal transformation, random healing abilities, etc.
Dreamers are also sharing abilities; standing too close to a Dreamer with an ability will cause the other Dreamer to start displaying aspects of that ability (diminished from their full power) for a short time
Suspicious Message

Some receive a suspicious message on their phone from an unknown user (this is opt-in; if you wish to opt-out, simply assume your character didn't receive the message)
Dreamers feel compelled to respond truthfully to the message, but once they do, the result is publicly posted for others to see/respond to
"If you were to suddenly feel someone's hand in your own, whose hand would it be? But whose hand would you want it to be?"

Character Name: Basil
Canon: Omori
Character Age: Canonly 16, 17 ingame as of last month.
General Info: Basil is an anxious person who loves flowers and once loved taking pictures. Due to his traumatic past, he has difficulty opening up to others and tends to withdraw more than the normal person typically would. However, he's the type of friend who would do absolutely anything for the people he loves, even if it's not what's best for either himself or the other person.

In-game: Basil has a greenhouse next to the cottage that he lives in and manages a flower shop. He takes requests to grow anything that characters might want to see grown. Other than that, he dabbles in taking pictures from time to time and can be often seen with a cat following him around.

Desired CR: I'm seeking friendship, found family and negative CR for him! Basil tends to get along best with patient and quiet characters, while abrasive characters tend to make him nervous. He'll avoid anyone who he thinks might actively try to hurt him in some way.

Monthly Plans: I have no monthly plans as of right now. I'm at a happy place with his development, and I like to see where threads go. RP is best imo if you can't predict how a thread is going to go. He also has a top level here.

RP Wishlist: I WOULD LOVE FOR HIM TO BOND WITH SOMEONE ELSE WHO LOVES FLOWERS... And he could use more employees for his shop for any characters looking for work!

Anything else:

I don't actually know anything about Omori but. Unfortunately Junah is neither patient nor quiet BUT I think she'll take a liking to him based on our thread... He makes her want to stand in front of him and say He Ask For No Pickles...

Otherwise I am also happy to haunt Basil with Minato, that is fun too!! lmk whichever between the 2 best float your boat, or if you wanted cr with both of them that is also cool... I'm easy

CONSIDERING THAT BASIL'S BFF HERE IS LUZ FROM THE OWL HOUSE.... I think they'll get along well!! Their thread is cute and I'm definitely game to see where it goes.

ON ANOTHER HAND... I also love P3R dearly and would love CR with Minato, especially given Basil's relationship with Kazuya... those two could be twins.

Ok I am putting Both of them in your hands. Basil has 2 hands. Definitely down to keep going in our thread! Also the way I forgot to say she'd be down for helping out at Basil's flower shop even if she doesn't know Too much about them. She'd mainly just be happy to lend a hand to someone she's taken a liking to...

Yes...... Kazuya his Atlus lookalike..... Sorry for leaving muddy pawprints all over your home Basil he really thought he was a dog forever now... I think Kazuya's scruffed him by the back of his neck so I can see Minato crossing paths with Basil a lot. I think I'll see where our TDM thread goes unless you were looking for a specific type of CR with him? Whichever it is I am game \o/

AW, I'D LOVE THAT.... tbh I haven't gotten far enough in Metaphor to know much about Junah but I'm looking forward to knowing more about her through our threads.

I'm good with seeing how the thread goes!! I think they'll get along well though, especially if Minato befriends Kazuya.

I love their interactions so far and could easily see them rolling into a friendship. At some point, they should discuss their dumb chihuahuas. Maybe Basil can give Nao tips on gardening and things.

I LOVE THEM TOO. they're very sweet!! i think they could absolutely bond over personal things the more we thread with them, and basil would absolutely be down to help her with anything gardening-wise

I'M HERE FOR IT and always have room for more Basil threads!

Nao just got a farm with a community garden on the 5th and she's going to need all the help she can get from people with practical experience growing things because she's a city girl. There's a lot books from the library can't teach and other farmers also have things to do.

Help her, Basil-senpai!

Also, she may have guided a potential employee for Basil?
