I think.. maybe that's a part of it. I want to know what it's like to be in love... to be loved. I never had that in my world. Well, no— I'm sure my parents must have loved me, but they died when I was very young. I just don't remember it.

Being here... it feels like I might finally have the chance to find out. I'm not the fr- uh, the weird one that scares everyone here. No one cares that I can see youkai, because here it seems like everyone can for some reason. But... I also don't know how long I'll be here.. or how long they'll be here.
