An ex-police detective who's now just sort of a lazy doofus set on minding his own business, (this is a lie, he is nosy) he's friendly enough on most days, a delightful clown on his best, but ultimately doesn't let people in any further than the surface. That's fine for some people, and it's fine for him. Persona 4 spoilers within!! So uh, he's the normal mode final boss of P4. Killed two people out of misplaced anger, jealousy, and loneliness and his feelings about it were so intense a god let him be an attempted harbinger of the apocalypse. Everything would be great if we turned into thoughtless shadow blobs, wouldn't it? Adachi sure seems to think so.
But he got his ass soundly whooped by the protagonist so he's agreed to play nice and not try that again, or to kill anyone in general, so now he's just Nihilism Man. You're worthless, he's worthless, and he's a-okay spending the rest of his days moping about it...except Laby probably won't let him, he'll be forced into action, but he's gonna be so loud when complaining about it!! This sucks!!! Stop kidnapping him and let him sulk, geez!
State Of: Oops, he already doesn't like it here! He's got a room in The Machiya that he's convinced he'll leave once the weather gets warmer because it's a full house and he's too solitary a creature for that. Especially since he's already on neutral or bad terms with the other residents. He doesn't really have any goals right now save making it through day to day, so, exciting stuff.
CR Desires/RP Wishlist: It's unfortunately hilarious to me when Adachi hates people and they hate him back. Negative or neutral cr is very easy to get with him. Positive cr is possible, it just requires a specific set of circumstances or a specific kind of person, and if you asked me what either of those are then I'd have to refer you to the answer down below.

Event Plans: Oh this man is hacking up flowers like nobody's business. (Spider lilies and white chrysanthemums because I'm a sucker for flower symbolism, shh) He's probably gonna keep to the machiya for a while, but having housemates who can hear him suffering is gonna bug the hell out of him so he might get out for the sake of being alone, spy on and get dragged into trust exercises.
