Laios doesn't seem to feel threatened even when having an implement waggled at him. He just perks up, gets a determined name on his face, and nods decisively.

"Right, the crystal. We can't do anything until we fix that." At least, that's his understanding of the circumstances they're in. "I'm going to go collect more shards. I'll bring them to you once I find them!"

And then he's headed out!
