[Arrakis listened to the Doctor with a soft smile. His smile faltered with a hint of surprise at his question. Without realizing it he looked over at Sheliak, who looked just as flustered as he quickly tried to hide it under a smug smile.]

[He moved his black knight on the chess board. On a closer look the chess board might seem a bit confusing. Arrakis's side was all black, but it was missing a few pieces, Sheliak's black knight, a pawn, a bishop, and the queen were on his friend's side which was otherwise white. The odd mismatch of pieces didn't seem to bother anyone though. After he made his move Sheliak turned back to the Doctor, his eyes that seemed to ripple like water shining brighter with a faint flicker.]

What's this about raising a dragon together?

[Arrakis tried and failed to stifle his chuckle at the clear jealousy in Sheliak's tone.]
