You just said it yourself, Doctor. There are rules--and you're not immune to them. Break them, bend them, ignore them, but they still exist despite all we do otherwise.

[Loki liked to view rules more as 'guidelines'. He broke them when he could, tested them, studied them, found the loopholes, ignored them when he could, and so much else. But they were always there, regardless.]
